It seems to be working! (But please see my edits)
My Cavachon scratched constantly, despite antihistamines, but since introducing this into her diet, the itching stopped within days. When the first bottle finished I thought I would do a test and stop giving it to her, but lo, after a couple of days she was back scratching again. So of course I immediately reintroduced it and now she's stopped scratching. Need I say more? However, the real test will come in the Autumn, the worst season when she always goes crazy with itching, but even if it doesn't resolve the issue completely then, it obviously does help. Won't be without this product again.Edit 1/11/14. Sadly this hasn't helped with Autumnal seasonal itching at all. Poor Cavachon going crazy itching day and night despite Yumega Plus. Tried loads of products - specialist shampoos, homeopathic remedies, antihistamines, cider vinegar rinses, diet change etc, but to no avail. Roll on the first frosts.Further edit 21/11/16. I am sure this product helps, but I have finally discovered the ultimate cure for my poor dog's itching. A year on a raw meat diet and the itching has completely stopped, even during the Autumns when she has always been beside herself scratching for months on end. I am so thrilled. This diet has also cured my second dog's arthritis. Would NEVER go back to even the best quality kibble or canned dog food, but I still give them Yumega Plus as well as Yumove for the arthritis as I don't want to make any changes to a formula that seems to be working so well. As an added precaution I also put a thin body coat on the itchy dog on our walks to protect her from the Autumn pollen, but I am convinced it is the food that has made the difference. I do hope this helps some other dogs out there. It is purgatory for dogs and owners alike to see them suffering so.

Expensive but results noticed within first week
Editing my review of this and now reducing to a 3 star review from a 5 star review as the last two bottles I've ordered of this has been delivered with less than a month left on the use by date. Very expensive to be paying for a bottle which I have to chuck away when half full still.I am also unsure of how well this is still working on my dog as he is very, very itchy again it's as if this is having absolutely no effect at all. I am just about to purchase another bottle in the hope that maybe the last few I've received have just been bad batches, but if this doesn't have any good effect then I will stop using it. I don't know if they've changed the formula or anything that's now making it less effective.Original review:I've been using this for maybe 6 weeks on my 6 yr old German Shepherd who seems to have red itchy pores around his whiskers and eyebrows.I have been to the vets several times about this problem and they said (looking from afar as apparently German Shepherds are too scary for the vet to get up close to...!) that apparently his face is fine, no problems (yeah, right!)I noticed the redness definitely subsided after a week or so of using this, however he does still scratch occasionally. I will continue using this as there definitely has been some improvement, it's obviously not a miracle cure but definitely worth using. My dogs are raw fed, so I just put this on whatever meal of the day is going to more absorb this oil i.e if he's having any ground meat, or it soaks in ok to tripe chunks but just drips down a chicken leg for example.I was a bit concerned at first as he didn't want to lick any up that wasn't absorbed by the food, but now he licks the little container and his whole bowl so it must taste alright! My dog is a fussy eater, so this may not apply to all dogs..!Just realised now that you don't have to measure this out in the little cup (I always feels bad that there is quite a bit left that I can't get out), you just weigh it directly into his bowl on the scales! No waste - genius!

Fabulous medicine for dog skin rash
Yumega was recommended by our vet for our Beagle / Harrier Cross. The Harrier is the American version of the Beagle and is a bit bigger. He had a very angry rash on the inside of his back legs - up near the top. We tried all kinds of creams but nothing seemed to work. It was obvious that he was feeling the pain, and we were desperate to help him. Eventually our vet recommended Yumega, but warned us that it was quite expensive at about £15 for 250ml. We tried it and after the bottle was emptied (at 7ml per day) we thought that there might have been a slight improvement. So we decided to give it a further try. However, instead of buying from the vet, we tried to find it online, and were pleased to see it on Amazon at just a couple of pounds extra for the 500ml size. At the end of this second bottle we noticed a definite improvement, so decided to place a regular order for it through Amazon (every 2 months). We are near the end of the third bottle and the rash has gone, But we are determined to keep it away, so will continue to give it to him daily. It really does work - and he really loves it. I thought that he would eat it only because it is in his food, but one day I tried him with the measuring cup which had some residue round the sides and he licked it clean. I highly recommend this for any dog with a skin rash.

A Little goes a Long way
One of my show dogs was bitten on the leg and developed a deep seated infection - we had a terrible time trying to clear it up (as in trying out various medications for 2 years). One of the problems we faced is that the anti-biotic would work but he'd keep licking the area and creating a problem. We tried various methods to stop him but nothing seemed to stop him once he'd gotten it into his head to start licking and itching.Having used Yumpro successfully on two dogs with sensitive stomachs I decided to look through lintbells range to see if they sold anything that could help and found this product.I used in conjuction with a course of aniti-biotcs (he was having a flare up) and was surprised to find that he didn't lick the infection site. He stopped licking after about a week on this! Very quick and was surprised to see anything work so fast.He has had spells where he has chewed his foot or licked his toes but nothing major to create a problem, just general doggy behaviour.I am now adding this to all my other dogs food to see if it has an effect on their coats? I don't see anything at the moment but none have skin problems or look out of condition anyway. One thing I will say is don't give as much as it says on the instructions. I had diarrhea everywhere! I find that my 85lb dog only needs a few drops on his food (think tablet/capsule amount), the manufacturer suggest 3mls which i found to have ill effects on his bowels.

Product great. Amazon Terrible
Absolutely can’t fault this product. Does exactly what it says and has really helped my dog who was chewing himself red raw around his belly and paws.Unfortunately since the product changed its name from YuMEGA to YuDERM, Amazon are unable to fulfil the subscribe and save option so I can get it sent every month. I tried to contact customer services to ask why they are continuing to sell the oil under the new name with the old profile/reviews/questions/profile picture literally showing the YuMEGA bottle with an arrow to a YuDERM bottle showing it as the exact same product etc but won’t honour my order. It’s an absolute joke and to the detriment of my dogs health which I’ve tried to make them aware of but they’re adamant that they are different products.I have to question if they are different products why they have the exact same profiles?? Absolute cowboys!

Easy to administer in handy pump action bottle no strong taste so mixes in food
My dog suffers from skin allergies and has injections to dampen his immune system . Taking this supplement daily helps to keep his skin in good condition and minimises the itch . My vet recommended it and it certainly makes a difference. I just put it into the food 2 presses of the pump couldn’t be easier and he eats his food fine with it in . It’s a must to help keep your dogs skin the best it can be .

her skin is looking much better and the greasy look is starting to clear so ...
Having ordered the Yumpro and Yumove products from this company which I have been very impressed with I decided to try this product as well as my Lhasa who at ten years old has many problems has developed a skin condition ( which may be linked to a thyroid problem) where the skin is of darkened patches and is very flakey and makes her coat greasy. The ver prescribed some medicated shampoo but wasn't really effective so I thought I would give this a go. I add it to her food every morning and although early days, her skin is looking much better and the greasy look is starting to clear so I will carry on with it and see if it clears the flakiness up.Oh and a bonus is she loves the taste and belive me she is the fussiest Lhasa ever.

Seems to work!
My 6 yr old GSD suddenly developed an allergy during the Spring of this year. He had the usual blood tests which proved inconclusive, and I was getting desperate. He was scratching at just about every part of his body, his skin was changing to a darker pink and his coat was really scurfy. How anyone can sit and do nothing about an animal that is obviously in discomfort is beyond me so I began trawling the internet in the hope of finding a wonder cure!! The positive reviews regarding this product were enough to convince me to give it a go and I have to say that his skin is much better and his coat is back to normal, lovely to touch with no scurf. I'm convinced that this product has played a part in this change, so I've just ordered another bottle.

Wow! Really made a big difference after a few weeks!! Scary itchy ears MUCH improved.
Really happy with this. Made an amazing difference for my little baby. (Well I say that, he's a 70kg Great Dane! Lol) He had really itch ears. That were really thick and scabby. Vet couldn't do a thing for him except advise expensive blood tests for allergies that "may or may not help us". I changed his diet to a anti allergy diet (Guru Dog Food) And then tried this product out. I dosed him twice a day with the recommended amount by dividing it in two and mixing it in with his twice a day meals. (So half a dose in first meal and other half in second, as I believe it digests better divided into two half doses, rather than one full dose) And boy. Within a couple of weeks did it make a difference. Poor thing wasn't scratching at his ears any more. 90% of the horrible scaly scabs skin on his inner ears slowly went away too. Hopefully over the next few months the rest will go too. He's a happier boy and I'm a much happier dad!! No more steroid injections for us! :^)

This is a brilliant product. We tried for 10 years to find ...
This is a brilliant product. We tried for 10 years to find a cure to stop our rescue dog from scratching & removing wee patches of fur from herself. We changed her food to a non-chicken (surprisingly) variety. But the big difference came when we changed from the original Yumega oil to this version. After over a few weeks, she had stopped the manic stratching/itching. Plus One of our BC's has a very thick and often very dry coat - we put him onto this oil and his coat has become softer and easier to manage. It helps with the dogs' joints too. In fact all of of our dogs' coats have softened and if we inadvertently forget that we have run out of the oil, we are soon reminded when we notice all our 4 dogs start nibbling at their skin & scratching. We have tried so many expensive food changes over the years; medication fm the vets and yet this is the best and has helped the most. Thanks Lintbells as usual for superb products at good prices that you can see working.

Amazingly, this actually works!
I rescued a little dog from Cyprus last September and she was constantly itching from the moment she arrived! It had gotten so bad that she was actually becoming bald in places and creating surface wounds! I knew it couldn't be flea/ worm related as I kept her up to date with all those treatments. I changed her food to wheat free (sensitive dog variety) and applied countless lotions to her skin over a period of 3 months - nothing seemed to work. I started using this product at the start of January, just adding the small dose to her food each morning and literally within days, the itching stopped! Two months on and her fur is thicker/ shinier than ever and the bald patches have started to disappear! We still have about a third/ quarter left in the bottle too, so great value for money! Finally, something that actually does what it says on the bottle!

It works!
I was unsure about purchasing this because of the price but after trying everything else I could think of to help my staffies allergic reactions I was ready to try anything. She was scratching and rubbing her face raw on the carpets, literally yelping in pain but still carrying on scratching and making herself bleed etc, really was distressing not knowing how to help her, we had changed her food bought her creams and sprays, changed washing powders for our clothes all sorts. So tried this and after a few days I definatley noticed a difference in her scratching and rubbing her face less although it hasn't stopped completley, her fur has started to grow back where she was making it patchy with the scratching and and feels more silky rather than bristle like as it was before. So all in all I would definatley recommend for anyone at their wits end like me and wants to bring some relief to their dog

Great for reducing dander (pet allergen)
My son is allergic to dogs. I have implemented several measures to ensure I can manage his allergy. Yummega Plus was recommended to me by a vet as one such measure. The theory being that by ensuring the dog's skin is in great condition there will be a reduction in dander (the allergen, that causes my son's reaction to the dog) and so my son's reaction to my dog will equally be reduced. I have implemented several other measures, including using an air purifier and having dog-free areas of the house. All in all, my son's allergic reaction is significantly reduced. Whilst I cannot attribute this to any one of the measures that I have implemented, I believe that Yumega Plus has had a positive effect and I will keep on buying it. My springer spaniel looks amazing too - which is another reason to keep using it. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this product.

Definitely worth getting
My cockerpoo x Bichon gets allergy driven itchy skin every year and bites himself getting open wounds. Horrified by how the vet prescribed tablets work (they suppress the immune system) I have been searching for alternatives. I have using this in combination with dried sprat treats, regular Malaseb baths and a no grain diet. His itchiness had definitely reduced and he is not scratching and biting himself until he bleeds. I’m going to stick with the supplement and will order some more.
