...and beyond. We installed a set of this style of light bulbs for the exterior garage lights a few years ago. Both of them finally died recently, so we decided to replace them with more of the same style. We enjoyed having them as they're different than standard white lights, and also good for the fall holidays. We kept them in year round, and they've worked okay. The fact that they're LED bulbs means we don't have to worry about energy consumption when they get left on overnight.The lights have multiple flicker modes, though I like the default mode the best. It flickers and looks like a flame is burning. I don't care for the solid orange mode or the dimming mode.

First of all, these are so easy to use, just plug into an outlet and they're on. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but with all the led lights out there that have tiny remotes (that always get lost), or worse, battery operated lights, these beat them all. We bought two and put them in lamps in our den where we watch tv. The lamps are bubbled glass, so the light bulbs aren't covered up and they are visible. They are perfection! The flickering is beautiful but isn't distracting. The amount of light is soothing and calming. We found these to be the best price of the available flicker lights we looked at. We will buy these again for sure.

I'm pleased with the flame effect...looks pretty good. Don't expect it to looks like the flames in the obviously re-touched still pictures. Look instead at the video for more accurate representation of the flame effect. The effect does look better in a glass lamp shade.Some reviews I read complained that it doesn't produce enough light; I don't think you can expect a flame simulation to be bright. Think about it...how much light does a few candles give off? I'm just sayin'....I took away one star because one of the modes - breathing - doesn't work. I don't care too much because I don't see using that one. I get flame and general light mode. The upside down "gravity" mode also works fine with flame and general light modes.I bought this for extra Halloween atmosphere for my porch but I can see using this in the backyard patio for adding ambiance to evening gatherings.I think it's worth it. I'm enjoying it!

These are really neat. Lots of fun to watch, not too bright, but put off plenty of light. I ordered another set to have here. Right now we're using them in the living room because of the beautiful ambience. The picture cannot capture how pretty they are, but they truly look like a fire.

I got these for the house for fun. Actually, while the Christmas lights are on, they serve as a good substitute because they are not overpowering like the other bulbs I had in. They really do act like a true candle flame. I like them a lot.Sorry, I would post a video but it’s the daytime and I guess I’m just gonna be lazy and you’ll have to take my word for it that they’re pretty cool, again. I like them…. you should buy them, too!!!!

Quality made and beautiful flickering lights. Made my holiday lighting even more beautiful!

I had a regular bright blue LED light in the front entryway for Halloween but it was TOO bright, and not very spooky, so this year I decided to give these blue-flickering flame bulbs a try and it gave the perfectly creepy vibe. I also liked these bulbs because they gave a sort of weak black-light effect, where the bulb would illuminate my florescent decorations and make my plugged in Jack-O-Lanterns pop (photos attached). For Halloween, I used several products from Amazon to make my lighting tricks special; for the front entry way, this blue flame bulb, and for the next short segment of hallway, the natural fire-effects flickering bulb. I will use this set up year after year. I may also use the combo of the blue- and fire-flame bulb in our garage where our tiki bar resides.

The bulb is very tall. I used mine in an oil lantern conversion. The lamp has a red lens. if the lens was clear, i think it would look odd. the red lens hides the bulb well. The effect is stunning!

Took the orange flaming ones out and replaced them with the green for Christmas. They look very nice and unique.
