Great product. I recommend it! Beautiful story!

This is a beautiful book... other reviewers have mentioned that there is the possibility to scare your children with some of the alien references. My four year old daughter is terrified of the dark and the shadows and has an incredibly overactive imagination so I approached this one carefully. When we came to the page in question I didn't draw any more attention to the creatures than I had to but she was so absorbed in the story that she barely batted an eyelid. The story follows Chris as a child in the run up to witnessing the 1969 moon landings and his childhood dreams enacted out in his own imagination as a child.It is a truly beautiful, inspiring story that left me with a tear in my eye and a warm fuzzy feeling of determination that I must do whatever I can to ensure that my own children will also reach for the stars.

Bought for my nephew. He loves it and his mum loves reading it to him. Great for kids afraid of the dark.

A beautifully illustrated book, with an inspiring message. What more could you ask? We were lucky enough to meet Chris Hadfield and have our book signed. He has a winning way with children, and my four year old daughter was enthralled. His message to children, and to adults, is wonderfully positive, and worth discovering for yourself.I bought a second copy from Amazon to present to my daughter's nursery on World Book Day, to help inspire all her friends to great things.

This is a wonderful and inspirational book. To be honest I bought it because I saw Chris Hadfield giving an interview and he was so interesting and honest about the book I thought I'd buy it for my baby granddaughter. I'm really glad I did as it's a superb example of a great book for a child. It also addresses the issue of "the dark" in a very positive way.

Book contains terrifying drawings of aliens that are too scary for young kids, and likely to give them nightmares. Story could have survived without them.

Great book. Great Author. My husband met the Commander in person and had him sign the book. Kids loved the story. We love that it is a true story. They love finding the little aliens in the book and how it glows in the dark. My husband stood in line for hours to get the book signed and meet the man, Chris Hadfield himself and it was worth it. Such a treasure we have in this book now. Highly recommended.

My 3 year old grabbed this book at the library based on the pictures. We fell in love with the story and came here to amazon to buy it after reading our library book every day for a month. The story is extremely sweet/touching/inspirational and the “follow your dreams” message really hit home for my daughter. The illustrations are beautiful too. This is our family’s new favorite children’s book.

Le he comprado en una superoferta (suelo aprovechar las ofertas de los libros infantiles en inglés, puesto que en España no está permitido) y por el precio que he pagado estoy contentísima.El libro, tiene las tapas blanditas pero su encuadernación, grosor de hojas e impresión es bastante buena.La historia es muy bonita. Un niño que tenía miedo a la oscuridad pero quería ser astronauta, y que hay más oscuro que el universo? Está basado en una historia real del astronauta y eso también se le puede explicar a los niños.El inglés lo veo bastante asequible, sin muchos problemas o palabras complicadas. Las ilustraciones que acompañan son muy bonitas.A los niños les ha gustado y a mi también.Espero que os ayude la información. Un saludo :)

Terrific story. Awesome quality (I bought paperback) of the pages. Really engrossing. It's short, full of illustrations and my daughter loved it, so did I.
