This lighter uses a coil that is powered once you pull back on the case. A circle is exposed that heats to red hot in a matter of seconds. No fame to get wet or to be blown out this should be good for lighting that wet stuff as the heat source is a constant.Charged through USB and a rechargeable battery this took about 4 hours to charge and Ive yet to make it run out.The multi function part is a bit strange and even stranger as I purchased the one with the bottle opener and received a nail clipper - perhaps the bottle opener is for a boys night in and the nail clipper is for a girls night in :)The lighter works well and is nice to look at. It has a key loop at the top so you can attach it with your key and actually makes a good talking point - the nail clippers make for a more interesting conversation too :)

Gave as a gift to someone who liked - can't comment on functionality but have heard no complaints!

Writing a 2nd review, 1st was deleted .. this item does not work, i've spent 17 plus pounds on it ... please DO NOT BUY!

Where did this little beauty turn up from? We have here from a quality item from iBoxCube which does 4 things in one,such a handy little tool.Firstly, it’s a lighter by nature then it it’s a bottle opener, A UV light and an errrrr ear pick? More about these items later.The one I have here is a crafted in nearly one solid piece of metal the only joins are seen on top where the lighter mech is, the fact it’s been crafted out of one solid piece of metal tells me it cost a pretty penny or two to manufacture.It is offered in two different colours I have the bronze/rose gold and the other colour is black but I'm not sure if it’s a matt black or a gloss black :/The key ring matches the colour of the product with a leather strap holding the two together (I love the metal and leather combo 😊)The packaging is top notch from REMAX which comes along with a micro USB cable to charge the unit and a set of instructions on how to use the item.Right on to the functions: -The bottle opener part of the item opened my beer with no issues it latterly bent the bottle cap in half so I can see many years of use out of this 😊The ear pick….Not sure why they would put this on…but oh well it can be used for its desired intent but I have found other uses for it like popping the keys of keyboard to clean it 😊Now the UV light is a bit hit and miss because I tried it on various note amounts and light conditions but it would not pick up the security markings…now either I have over £100 in fake notes or the UV is not that good but this could be down to it being a single LED as you need quite a powerful UV emitter to pick up the markings (but for my needs this was not an issue)Now on to the bread and butter of this thing! The lighter function, It will take any cigarette sizes all the way up to the slim cigars as seen in the video review 😊 You could use this for other things such as starting a small fire if you go camping etc, also with it not requiring fuel it wont cost you to refill or replace just like a disposable cig lighter :)What I have noticed is that the light ring will stay engaged for 18 or so seconds before powering down maybe this is a safety feature I’m not sure but it’s a welcome one 😊Over all it’s a quality item and one proud to have on my keys as you never know when you will need any of the tools it provides 😊
