The first time I have ever felt the need to leave a review
I have never felt the need to leave a review for something bought online before but this is a really super product and amazing value, but I nearly didn't buy it because of the very mixed reviews so thought I'd throw in my tuppence worth...I ordered the kit to see if I could do anything about a dent on the tank of my motorcycle - I'd spent ages looking for a replacement without luck and finally decided to give this a go since it was only £6.50 there didn't seem much to lose. I haven't any experience of similar products but found it easy to follow the instruction and after 45 minutes and a dozen applications - hey presto, the dent is gone unless you examine the bike really closely. The only thoughts I have that you might not pick up elsewhere are: this almost certainly wont give a good finish if your dent has a sharp edge or crease (mine was smooth and as I say the result is great), and the hot glue gun is a bit messy so good to have a sheet of newspaper nearby to catch the drips as you work.

Can't believe it actually worked (kind of).
Can't believe it actually worked (kind of).Had a very bad dent / crease left on my passenger door from some inconsiderate person.Brought this dent puller only expecting half results from the previous reviews. The big puller broke after 5 goes. However the small puller remained intact throughout the process. The puller is now in my toolbox ready for future use (but hoping not tho).As long as the paint is very clean, glue applied liberally and then the puller firmly pressed on the effected metal with a bit of a twist action (this provides better adhesion), then the puller works remarkably well.It has got about 80% of the dent out. As my door was creased it's about the best that could realistically be achieved but at least the door is far less noticeable damage than before.Good value considering my local body repair quoted £300!to fix.Not bad really. Worth the cheap prise.

Not sure if 5 star or 1 star
I'm really not sure how to review this product. Firstly if it's not sticking to your panel your doing it wrong..get yourself some panel wipe, not the cleaner that comes with it! Firstly the part you attach the glue to you need to roughly sand it, then panel wipe it. Leave your glue gun on for a good 10 minutes, heat your panel with a heat gun, heat your plastic part also with the heat gun. Apply the hot glue and quickly stick it to your dent, hold it on pushing firmly for 30 seconds or until the glue is cold. I then left it on for 10 minute's then attached the metal bar and screwed slowly, it had such a hold it snapped the metal bar, and pulled the dent out quite a bit. So I was going to chuck it in the bin when I went up to the local blacksmith who made me another proper bar, then I tried again. ..It worked perfect, stuck amazing and dent was almost out, 80% better than it was. So I then moved onto another dent and the larger plastic bit that pulls out the dent snapped! ! I used the smaller part with same sticking procedure and out it came....80% better. ....For a tenner and a bit of hassle the dents look much much better...oh the cleaning. ..heat the glue pull off and panel wipe away..

This is a very good product and well worth the money
This is a very good product and well worth the money. I had three small dents in the tailgate of my Mercedes Vito and although it was not possible to pull them out uniformly, because of their shape, the Am-Tech Dent Repair Tool Kit did improve them sufficiently to make filling them that much easier. With a uniform bump dent, I am in no doubt this kit would pull the dent out with a pop. The instructions are pretty poor, so it takes a bit of time to get the best out of the kit. Three things I would recommend: First, make sure the glue gun has been warming up for at least 10 minutes. The glue will be soft before this time, but it needs to be runny when you squeeze it onto whichever puller you choose to use. The second thing you need to do it so make sure the glue goes into the holes in the puller, so that when you press it onto the dent, the glue oozes through the holes and when the glue hardens, you will have what are effectively rivets to help hold the puller onto the glue. Finally, be patient and let the glue harden properly before you start winding the puller up. If you do all of these things, this little device will pull out the dent, perhaps not first time, but after a few goes. This product deserves five stars.

Don't waste your money buying this glue puller
This Item arrived in the post on Wednesday 18/06/2014 but didn't get the chance to use it until today Sunday 22/06/2014, weather very hot where I live today so got the dents spotlessly clean using Isopropanol and this stuff that came with it in a bottle ( nail varnish remover ) also gave the tabs a good scrubbing with the acetone, got the WHITE glue stick in the glue gun and left it for ten minutes to make sure the glue was really hot, applied glue to the small tab and applied straight away and held it there with a little pressure then let it stand for twenty minutes to make sure the glue had set properly, mounted the puller stand over the tab bolt and turned the wingnut very slowly, hardly any pressure on the wingnut and the tab pulled off the glue, removed the glue stuck to the car and dent still there, so tried again after I had roughed up the tab plastic bit to give the glue a key to help it stick, I tried and tried but all I got from this kit was three wasted sticks of glue and a load of wasted time and electricity, it might have worked if the seller had sold it with the BLACK glue sticks as these are stronger sticking than the cheap WHITE sticks,But I have chucked this thing in the back of my shed and will probably book my car in to the dent specialist as I am not going to waste anymore money on this hopeless puller.
