ESP8266 Development Board NodeMCU Lua WiFi with CP2102 USB and Base/Motor Shield

Ok, a couple things you need to know. Use the "NodeMCU 0.9 ESP-12 Module" under the boards manager in the arduino ide. Set your upload speed to 256000 to get the code to successfully upload to the NodeMCU. That's the hard stuff that took me forever to figure out. Also on the motor shield the power button doesn't want to stay down. Wiggle it around and it can find it's catch. Be careful not to break it though as it will come apart. Good luck!

Very poor manufacturing quality, with zero QC. Mine arrived DOA, with short between ground and Vin (logic supply), and covered in flux. Discovered short after battery holder terminal springs melted through plastic overnight. Unfortunately, didn't get around to using it while within return window. However, at the price, no hard feelings.

Nice product I don’t know nothing about but my 11 yr old daughter got an “A” for some robot project ,worked for her i didn’t even know all this stuff existed

Works great! Runs my remote controlled WiFi tank and controls the motors :-)

This motor controller board didn't work for me out of the box. The power button doesn't stay down. I have to hold it in place.Poor QA. Not worth it.
