The FAR infrared support helps relieve pain by retaining body heat and emitting safe FAR infrared rays that penetrate deep into the joint and surrounding tissues of the ankle to help increase bloodflow which will in turn, reduce inflammation, decrease pain and speed the healing process. The intricately knit material gives support while allowing you to bend, sit and walk with ease. Slips on and stays in place all day. The sleeve is enhanced by ceramic FAR infrared emitting elements which are composed of oxides of zirconium, aluminum, zinc, titanium, and antimony. The sleeve stretches in all directions promoting strength and circulation, while providing comfortable support for the ankle. Light compression counteracts tissue swelling. Fibers have an anti-bacterial treatment that inhibits bacteria growth. Can be used in combination with a cold compress, or hot/cold interval treatment. NOTE: This product contains Latex. Love the support
Love the support, it is well made. I did follow the sizing recommendation given as posted and found the support to be tighter than anticipated. It works well for my application but others probably should order one size bigger than stated.
