The Bedding Specialist Pure Cotton Filling, Fitted Mattress Protector-King Bed, White, (150 x 200cm)

Edit Late January 2021. Still in constant use, has been watched, superb quality. I really do hope this item is back in stock before too long! This is the best quality mattress protector I have purchased for a number of years. The fabric is soft. The stitching is excellent and the skirt around the protector is deep enough to fit my supering size bed, which has also got a down filled mattress topper on it, making the depth more than standard. Also, my mattress is one that cannot be turned over, so the top of it is thicker than on standard ones. Pleased to say, this protecter went on with no difficulty at all. I have slept on it now for over a week, it is comfortable, soft and smooth, it does not smell (some purchased in the past had a sort of chemical odour) and the thread count is certainly high. Not sure how thread count is measured, but compared to my 100% cotton tea towels, this item feels smooth and is extremely well made. I am very happy with it indeed. I think perhaps, a reminder though..... ensure you are looking for a 'protector' for the mattress - not a 'topper' which is quite a different item. Very happy to recommend.

Bought this when I bought a new natural filling mattress. It is exceptionally good - the best mattress protector I’ve ever bought. It does shrink, as the description says, but only to the correct size. Mine is a very deep king size mattress and after the first wash, it fitted perfectly. Contrary to the instructions, I washed it at 60 degrees (to kill potential bed lice!) and tumbled dried at high heat (so I could put it back on the bed more quickly!). It was still as good as new. I would thoroughly recommend it. There are lots of cheaper protectors on the market But this one is well worth the additional cost.

We have a deep Hypnos pillow top mattress which is 32 / 33cm deep, this fits it perfectly, I wouldn't say it would fit a much deeper mattress though.Quality wise this is worth every penny, it's 100% cotton, really thick and padded, and even the side skirts are cotton too.

Returned as although well made, the product made my mattress feel very hard.

I bought this as a spare one to use while the other is being washed. Have found the original one to be good value. Also there is an allowance for shrinkage so still fits perfectly.
