Sea & Sky in Acrylics: Techniques & inspiration Paperback – Illustrated, 10 Sept. 2015

Very good and informative book

I only put in a search for 'sea and sky art' and this was one of the first to appear - even better for me as I do use acrylics (rather than oil). The guidance is presented in a way which I find easy to follow, both visually and manually (though I'm still in the very early stages of painting in the ways described). There is also clear information about which specific colours to use. I'm not going to buy even more paint at the moment, but I do see the reason for it! I've always been a bit frightened of trying to paint dramatic sea (or sky!) scenes - at least now I feel I have something to rely on fairly comfortably as a clear starting point!

A smashing book. Lovely clear instructions. Superb projects to try. Well worth getting.

Great books, learning a a lot and trying new technics

Very easy to follow. Decent size for reading and studying pictures.Would recommend to all those trying to paint seascapes.

It was ok but not quite what I was expecting from reading the reviews. Some of the tips were useful though.
