Q: Does this unit have casters for easy moving?

Yes...it does have casters and moves easily. This has been a great dehumidifier, and we have had three. We have run this for a couple months and it works great.

Q: Is this able to run a full night (8 hours) without the tank filling and beep if empty before bed? Beep wakes me

That clearly depends on your humidity, doesn't it? But this has a very small tank for its power and lack of pump. That said, I've never seen a unit designed to beep when empty.
