My kids love it!
My kids love this! Its a great way for them to be creative and use their imagination. They got it for Christmas so it's been too cold outside to use it. You can use it indoors as well but my kids start bumping things and getting crazy so I prefer they play outside. It's definitely a great way to keep the kids entertained. It's also a great Birthday/Christmas present.

Great concept
Very durable but a little hard to put together and take apart. Definitely need parental help if young kid ds are playing with it. Still a fun toy.

Only if your child is an engineering genius!
Let's start with having to put all the connectors on. Just don't bother, it's a waste of time. It doesn't matter in which hole you choose it will need to be moved if you are able to get it off once you've put it on! Nothing will match up because there isn't a single straight angle to any of the connectors! Got fed up after 2 hours, shoved it all back into the box the best I could, and sent it back. Waste of time, it's nothing like what is advertised.

Hours of fun for my 5 year old!
I'm very pleased with this fort building kit. I got it for my 5 year old son. At first, he had trouble connecting the straws to the balls, but eventually he got the hang of it and he spent probably about 2 hours the first day we had it playing with it. In the few weeks we've had it, I was surprised to see him take it out on his own multiple times to play with. My son tends to use a toy once or twice and throw it in the closet and forget it. He seems to be drawn to this fort building kit. This is the first fort building kit that I have used, so I'm not sure what the quality of the other sets are, but to be honest, I thought this set would be a little bit more high quality. The straws were pretty flexible and the balls were extremely lightweight plastic. For some reason I thought the balls might have some weight to them. Even with that being said, I'm giving this 5 stars because my kid seems to love it and so far nothing has broken on it.

Fair
The pieces are hard to put together and harder to take apart, and the structure was not sturdy. We had fun putting it together and playing in it, but it wasn't long before it fell on us with some bumping into the structure.

My kids love playing with these
I actually ended up buying two sets because my kids were having so much fun playing with this. It will allow them to make even larger things, but one set is large enough to make things worth playing with. I do think you need a sheet or cover at some point, or you end up with open shapes, but it's very intuitive and easy to use. Taking things apart might require some adult help because you have to squeeze the ends together, but that keeps them from popping out.

Fun fort building set!!
I've wanted to order a set like this for awhile now, and with winter coming, this seemed like a great indoor activity for my kids to do while it's raining out. There are definitely some pros and cons, but overall we had a great time building multiple forts of all shapes and sizes. The set comes in an attractive and very giftable box, and contained a lot more pieces than I anticipated. Popping the connectors on was a bit tedious. I ended up pushing them against the carpet to pop them on, just to give my poor fingers a break (which thankfully didn't break any!!). Taking the poles and connectors apart can be a bit difficult too. And we already broke a connector, so I wish the set came with a few spares. The poles aren't very sturdy either, basically giant, plastic straws. But if you build it with enough support, they stand up nicely. We just threw a sheet over our creations to create a fort, but I could see ordering some covers meant for these sets. Overall though, this was a really fun set, and my kids and I both enjoyed creating fun little forts all day.
