I bought this as my sons Christmas present and was very disappointed at the quality of what arrived. My husband had to glue parts back onto it to make it look nice again, this didnt seem to be transport damage but just a poorly created product. However, easily fixed and once fixed we are happy with the bookshelf although it only really holds smaller books.I am under no illusions that it will need replacing in a couple of years time (if not before) but for now it serves it's purpose in my sons nursery quote nicely.I did not contact the seller after discovering it was broken as we wanted to put it up on Christmas Eve & we hadn't allowed enough time to send it back and get another one, so this review holds no fault to the seller - it was in it's original packaging too so they couldn't have seen the damage before sending.

I was not sure what to expect for the price but it’s just ok. Finish is poor to be honest, marks on shelves and poor bumpy bits. Easy to assemble. The Main problem is The actual height of the shelves- as you can see most children’s paper backs are far too big to fit in. Although some will fit on the top shelf Smaller board books ok but these aren’t suitable for an older child. We haven’t put it on the wall yet but think it will look nice Eventually- I think we will be painting it as the finish is not great. Overall It’s ok for a value product.

I marked down a star because to use this as a bookshelf it's not very practical size wise, as most children's books wouldn't fit in the shelves! We used different screws to fix it to the wall, and it looks great as storage for my two year olds soft toys.

Looks nice but cheaply made and arrived broken where slats had been hammered in too hard to the shelving. Doesn’t fix that well to the wall and hangs at the bottom so am going to fix the bottom part directly to the wall as my son pulled it towards him. Does hold a lot of books however and is a good size.

..built, minus the poles that go in the front and removed the 2 hangers on the back. We then painted with dulux slate grey gloss paint (to match glossy grey kitchen cabinets). We then drilled some holes in the top part to secure to the external wall with rawplugs and we also added some additional L brackets just to really support it. It's very sturdy and holds a lot of cups / mugs freeing up a whole kitchen cabinet!! We absolutely love it and for the price it was an excellent find plus the whole thing (minus the cups) is deceptively light weight!! Recommended.

Nice shelves, light but looks sturdy. Super easy to assemble and very quick delivery.Only objection is that packaging is very basic and does not protect item well, so my arrived with few major dents and chopped corners. I will be using in storage room so it doesn't make big issue for me but would be better without it. Wil post pics tomorrow

This was easy to put together. The trim on the front edge of the top shelf seems a little flimsy. We use the shelves as a shoe rack, and overall it has stood up to us constantly putting shoes in and out of the shelving.

The bookshelf arrived with a crack and some marks.
