This is more of a buffer than a file and I absolutely love it. I've been using the foam block buffers with the textured surfaces glued onto them for years, mostly to smooth out my nails prior to applying polish. I usually end up shredding them after several uses. This little fella smoothes out ridges and leaves a shiny nail surface with very little effort. Since it's glass it doesn't get shredded! The case is also really pretty.

This file felt like an ‘all a dollar’ product
This is the worst glass file I’ve ever tried. Most work great....this one did not. It felt dull and cheap and did not file.

親へのプレゼント用に手軽にネイルケアをできる商品を探していてこちらを購入しました。まず、商品のゴールドの部分に傷があり、贈り物としては不向きだと思いました。商品チェックは甘いと思います。使用感としては、多くの商品は3段階位に荒さの異なるファイルを使い分けて爪をツルツルにさせていくのに、これ1つで完結できるってどういうことだろう？と不思議だったのですが、本当に爪の表面をなだらかにし、ツルツルにしてくれます。ただしファイルを3段階使い分けて完成させるツルツル感の3割程度の仕上がりでした。ツルツルにさせる力より、表面をなだらかにさせる力が弱いのかなと思います。時間をかけて磨いてみたものの完璧にツルツルには出来ませんでした。あと結構磨いた粉が出ます。これだったらファイルを2～3段階使い分けて爪を磨いた方が、圧倒的に早く綺麗に仕上がると思います。

自然なお洒落♪
レビューを見て心配していましたが、ピカピカの綺麗な物が届きました。見た目、おしゃれでチャチさもあまり無かと思います。磨きがコレ1つで済むので外出先で気になった時や、テレビを観ながら無心で使用するには良いかな？でも、なんしか時間がかかります。慣れですね（笑）テレビ観ながらだけど手はひたすら動かして両手で1時間かかりました（笑）爪横と付け根？は難しいです。爪は自然な艶が出るので好きです。(いかにもなピカピカビカビカなのは好きじゃないので)うーん……時間かかるのでメインでは使えないのは悔しいですが、もしもの時用にメイクポーチに入れて持ち歩き用にします。

思ったより期待外れ…。
今日、他の商品と届きました。早速、使ってみようと商品開けましたが…傷が所々に数ヵ所、ケース側にも汚れ？ありました。爪の凹凸をするのには、丁度良いサイズでしやすかったですが、艶の方は爪に傷入るし思ったより艶感が出ませんでした。申し訳ないですが、リピはないです。
