Unfortunately like many others I was taken in by the many positive reviews. After having paid £18 for this product I can quite confidently conclude that the majority of these 5 star reviews are clearly not genuine customers. They even read like they have been written by the same person! Anyway any other potential customers can make their own mind up about that.Now onto the product it’s self. I bought it with myself in mind as I do have a snoring problem which drives my spouse mad. I was desperately looking for something that might help when I came across this product. Having read the excellent reviews from so called genuine customers I went ahead and ordered. It’s quite expensive but I was prepared to pay it if it was going to work like it promised too.It arrived fairly quickly, writhin about 3 or 4 days of ordering. I read the instructions carefully and began the moulding process. The moulding process itself was uncomfortable and hurt my teeth due to how hard you have to bite down. Once done it seemed it hadn’t worked that well but I went ahead and tried it out that night.The mouth gaurd is large and very instrusive. It didn’t fit very well despite having supposedly been moulded to fit my mouth perfectly. It was really uncomfortable, made me drool, and dried my lips out. The next morning I was in agony with my bottom teeth from the pressure that had been put on them through the night. I did persevere though and attempted to use it for another 2 nights in the hope I just needed to get used to it. However the discomfort and pain in my teeth just got worse so I decided to stop using it as I was worried about the damage it was doing to my teeth.So did it stop me from snoring? Well I slept very poorly when using it so yeah I guess I snored less but only because I hardly slept. When I did manage to fall asleep with it in, my partner tells me that I still snored with the mouth guard in. So no it absolutely did not work, and is far too intrusive and comfortable to use. I will be asking for my money back.

Okay, so the very first thing you need to be aware of with this, is that it is NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN. It doesn't say this anywhere on the product info or the amazon page, so be aware that if this doesn't work for you, you're stuck with it. So, the basic design of this mouldable device, is that you align your front teeth, bite into it and set it all into place. You then wear it at night to keep your lower jaw in this forward position which creates a better airway and reduces or eliminates any palatial snoring. And, you know what? In spite of looking like an extra from Deliverance preparing for a game of rugby, it actually works.But, it's successful design is also it's fatal problem. The whole thing works by holding your lower jaw forward in an "unnatural" position (basically, so your upper and lower teeth are aligned). However, what actually "holds" the jaw in position isn't the mouthpiece itself, but the resistance from your upper jaw as the natural retraction of your lower jaw pulls on the lower part of the mouthpiece. This creates a huge degree of discomfort.It's not something you notice when you first put it in, but after an hour or so asleep, my God is this painful. I wore it last night and had to take it out after a couple of hours because it felt like dental torture. Nearly sixteen hours later my and various parts of my jaw are STILL uncomfortable. I'm seriously thinking of handing it over to the London Dungeon for an upcoming exhibit. Not only is this thing completely unusable due to this discomfort but I have to sincerely question the impact of long term use of this device on your teeth. It seriously reminded me of being 15 and wearing a recently tightened brace all night.In short, I think this device would be absolutely fine for teeth grinding, or any solution that requires you to wear it in a "natural" position, but I can not in all honesty and good conscience recommend this as an anti-snoring device unless hours of dental pain and the possibility of longer term issues seem a worthy pay off to you.

I bought this after reading all the fantastic reviews. Have to say I am not entirely sure that they are all genuine. I am unfortunately a palatal snorer. I am not overweight nor do I drink but for some reason I developed this habit about 5 years ago. Anyway knowing how it drives hubby up the wall (who does not snore) I have tried many of the usual contraptions IE nose strips, Nose clips etc, sprays nothing works so when I saw this and the reviews I thought I would give it a try. Its not cheap at almost £15.00 but if it helps I didnt mind.It arrived on time in a box with instructions and contact etc. Have to say on first impression this is not a single lower mouth guard but rather a very large complete mouth guard for upper and lower jaw. I was surprised at the size of it and worried how it might slip and choke me! Anyway I followed the instructions to the T. Unfortunately when I tried it it was very very hard and uncomfortable. The guard in spite of being moulded to fit my jaw did not sit on my jaw at all well, I went to sleep (although this was very difficult as it is obvious this thing is in your mouth), I woke up an hour later, dribbling and nigh on choking! I had a raging toothache (even though my teeth are in excellent condition) so this was no doubt from the pressure of this guard.I tried emailing the company twice and got no reply, so then went to amazon for a full refund which I am going to get shortly. The company asks you to contact them before leaving feedback but unfortunately they don't answer their e,mails.This product may work for some people but not for me I am afraid, it is simply impossible to sleep with this thing in your mouth. It is so intrusive you cant forget that it is there. I spoke to my dentist re my tootache and he said that it is a common fault with this type of device due to the fact that they are not a one size fits all even when put into hot water, this and the and the pressure that is applied to the teeth.
