Arrives very quickly 😃
Absolutely gorgeous, I was surprised when it so fast, it looks amazing, I cannot wait to plant it in our garden, it looks very healthy, lots of growth I was expecting something much smaller than what arrived, I am very happy.

Fantastic if you don't live near a stockist
I was impressed with the packaging and the plant was reasonably healthy. So far so good. I thought the pricing was a bit high but as I live in a rural area with very few garden centres or nurseries stocking this plant I thought I had little choice (having already searched for stockist in my general area). Be aware of the stated height because that is what it is and the box is smaller as the plant is bent to reduce size of packaging.I have, however, found (by accident) that a Garden Centre that I visited had this variety at 2M+ for the same price. So do the Math (as our annoying allies say).I would definitely by this, and or other products from YouGarden if I cannot find locally as very convenient and quality product and packaging

Poor quality tightly packed don’t bother
These plants are not worth the money pitiful is the best way to describe them. Yellowing leaves so tightly packed that I had to cut it out of the container and not the size advertised. I bought the 2 for £50 not worth the money. If they survive I’d be amazed

Stop your whingeing!
I read the reviews here and was surprised at the negativity. "Too small!" "Pot-bound!" "Tatty!" etc etc ad infinitum.I bought *one* of these plants in 2017. I remember it being dry and unimpressive upon delivery. Look at the attached photo and you'll realise that it has thrived beyond expectation -including having to be divided and potted, because it's a bit if a "runner" if planted directly in soil.Specimens like this have been seen in the local garden center at over £100 a pop. For a £28 investment over 6 years ago, we're doing very well out of it! Indeed, we're likely to split the two plants into four next Spring and let the cycle continue. The short version is: it's all in the long-term care of the plant as to whether this will work for you. No matter how it's packaged, it's initial size or the state of its roots, care in the long run will turn it into something pretty wonderful. Don't buy it if you're banking on instant gratification, in other words!

These Bamboo plants need to be better
I ordered a bamboo plant it arrived and was rubbish, very small and tatty, credit where credit is due Amazon dealt with the problem and refunded me and told me to dump the plant, which I done as it was an insult to my garden, I re-ordered another bamboo but I thought I would purchase a slightly taller one at 60-80cm, in all fairness the plant is just 60cm height, but the bamboo is a sorry sight, when you look at the advert photo for this plant it gives you the impression it is worth buying, the plant looks nothing like the picture, at £49.99 it is vastly over priced for what I received, because I have isolated myself because of the Covid I try to buy online, I think they have sent the rubbish to clear their stock.

Nigra Bamboo just what I ordered!
Quick delivery and the plant is of adequate height and has lots of new side plants growing. Well packaged and was delivered before the stated date. Plant is a bit potbound but will repot it shortly. A lot cheaper than my nearest garden centre which has smaller plants and not so bushy as this one.
