The bag is a cracking looking piece of kit.What let’s it down are the quality of the main zip opening and the shoulder strap and the shoulder strap mounts.The zipper is plastic, and I’d suggest very light duty. It’s going to burst sooner than you want.The leather shoulder strap is 2 lengths of very thin leather stitched together.The shoulder strap mounts are thin leather, and the stitching is not the best.Also I had to “air” the bag for a full 3 weeks due to the smell of the oil/ preservatives used on the leather.But, the seller was very fast to respond to my query on the smell, and how to rectify it.

I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews for this item.I took receipt of it a few days ago and I am more than pleased. It looks and feels way more expensive than it cost. Someone here said it is PVC, rubbish. I’m not sure what animal it comes from but it’s certainly not plastic. It’s made of thick, maybe cow or goat hide and will stand the test of time. I have no issues with the stitching, the colour or the quality of the item overall.It seems people here are determined to complain about the most ludicrous things. Sure it smells a little because of the oil used to preserve and keep the leather subtle but this is dissipating already and that is something that is acknowledged buy the seller/manufacture with instructions about how to deal with the issue.Forget the naysayers here, this bag is completely worth the money, I’m very pleased and I can highly recommend it.

Looked good in the pictures, Was purchased to carry a DSLR camera with 600mm zoom lens and hood attached. Everything is nice about the case body, and camera fitted perfect. But the buckle straps let it down, very thin leather, In fact it looks like 2 thin layers sewn back to back. If you ever seen an old school satchel, they had nice thick leather straps for the buckles which would last for years. The straps on this product on the other hand, look weak, and with an expected opening and closing several times a day, I didn't expect them to last, so was returned.

GOOD VALUE, SMELLS A LOT, TOOK OVER 2 HOURS TO CLEAN DRY OIL OFF , ZIP ONLY WORKS ON ONE SIDE ,THE OTHER ZIP GOES RIGHT ACROSS SO ITS OK.

This is a good weekend bag.It obviously comes almost flat packed .. sostuff it full of towels and blankets fir a few days.Nicely madeGood finishPlenty of spaceGood soft leather

The quality is not what I expected. The bag was exactly what I wanted but I’ve spent 2 days trying to clean the preserving oil off it and it stinks so I’ve sprayed the inside with febreze

You get what you pay for. Couple of defects with stitching in a couple of areas and tanning of the leather but nothing which impacts use.Seams a doubled stitched as they should be on a leather bag but it flimsy and fake in parts.

like the leather goods but a better lining and a couple of inner pockets would be very handy
