This drain is great. built with sturdy metal to keep its shape. It has holes for water drainage along the metal and center plastic pull plug. this allows maximum water draining when it begins to clog up. The center pull tab thing will begin to lose shape if you pour a really hot water over time but this is expected. The plastic pull thing began to lose shape after 3 years but it still works. I decided to get a new one due to looks.It doesn't plug the sink water but thee is a version with a rubber pad that will plug water if you want to. I bought their tub drain hair catcher and it led me to this product. They work great!

Does what it is supposed to do. Collect junk in the sink while allowing free flow of water!The lip is well designed to maximise draining and so water doesn't pool as it waits to be drained leaving residue in the process.

We highly recommend this drain basket. We had a rubber for years that finally broke so we got this metal one instead. It’s awesome. Fits perfectly, high quality construction and easy to clean. When our rubber one used to get even the tiniest bit of food waste build up, the water would drain so slowly. Not this one! It catches everything and STILL allows the water to drain quickly. Love it!

I needed one that was universal as my drain is a bit tricky, it works great and the bonus ring to block the drain is perfect.I wouldn’t say it’s impossible to clog…. But it’s very well made so it doesn’t clog as easily!Also very easy to clean I hated the other ones I tried before! This one is all smooth edges so makes it easy to clean
