How to Draw: Wild Flowers: in simple steps Paperback – 8 Sept. 2010

I had already got Janet Whittles how to Draw flowers and having great success with that book prompted me to expand the amount of flowers I could now draw with ease, to send for this book. Janet uses pictures to build up the drawing of flowers step by step in manageable chunks. I am not great at drawing by any stretch of the imagination but am having great results now.Many of my cohorts at art club, having seen these books are now looking to purchase them which is a testament to their simplicity and ease of use whilst achieving great results.Definitely one for anyone who is not an expert at drawing flowers.

My great niece was very happy with this book and is drawing flowers to her heart”s content.

I'm not a good drawer, hence why i purchased this book!! The pictures go from a very simple sketch to suddenly finished, without showing you how to shade which is what I need help with!

Not really much help if you are a beginner. I think that some authors think that people cannot really be true beginners and so don't bother with simple steps. It goes from a couple of lines to complete flower in 5 steps.

Good intro to flower drawing with plenty of detail to make lifelike images, to incorporate into your own design, or landscape. Could also be used by craft person, to make own, original templates for embroidery etc.

I have njoyed all the drawing books I have recently bought. They are excellent and give good tips for drawing all they illustrate. I would recommend them to anyone who wishes to take their drawing further.

I was trying to diversify into painting flowers for the first time but this book was a little too simple in the pictures. I prefer more natural scenes than just a small bunch of flowers
