Perfectly Good Hario Filters As Long As You Pre-Rinse
These are the Misarashi filters which are unbleached. They are actually a little darker than the boxed Misarashi filters I have purchased previously. Initially, the colour concerned me so I completed a blind test. Using filtered water I compared a) unfiltered b) filtered through lighter coloured Hario filter and c) filtered through these darker ones. The filters were first pre-rinsed with boiling water. Yes, when you rinse them the water that flows through is a slightly darker brown. But after rinsing no one in my family could tell the difference - the water colour was the same and definitely no taste difference. As far as I'm concerned I'm happy to use these after a pre-rinse with boiled water which also warms my cup.

Slightly smaller than average, but good coffee
These are size 1 V60 filters, which means they're a little smaller (vertically) than the size 2's we used last time. You can easily make coffee with them, but you have to pour more slowly because there's less volume in the filter to hold the water. The filters themselves are all a standard size, are strong and hold together well even when full of grounds and boiling hot water. I think I'd prefer Size 2's but the Size 1's are okay for a single cup.

Worth the money, never let me down.
Have been buying these filters now for years and never been disappointed. They always arrive quickly and when using with my V60 always make a great coffee. I prefer the unbleached version and recommend it to anyone as it saves the use of bleach in the manufacturing process which to me is just an unnecessary step, especially as this is a single use item.

Good quality filters for a good quality brand
I bought these to use in our Hario 01 drip filter. As with most Hario products, they're great quality and don't impede or add to the coffee flavour. We also appreciate how they can be composted or put straight in the food waste bin when used along with the coffee grounds.

correct size for our coffee funnel
I was amazed to find the correct size of filter for my wife's drip funnel, as they are otherwise impossible to get hold of in High Street shops! Be aware there are 2 sizes, one larger, one smaller in this category!
