In itself it is a great magnet. The only down side is the fact it shows you up to be a dufus. (1) Like the time I attached it to the roof of the boot of my car so it wasn't near our jackets with cards in them and I had accidentally placed it over the motor for the sunroof; result - Blew the motor of the sunroof. (2) Or like the time I was showing off my magnet and attached it to a gurder. It suddenly increased in power by about 100000%. It took 2 sturdy lads to get it off with a crowbar. Made us look like right twats. The magnet does rust like hell but I do use it in the sea so to be expected.

Great magmet, equal in quality to those i have tried that are almost twice the price, perfect strenght for canal and river fishing. Very strong so be careful when using it, got mine stuck to the vice in my workshop when cleaning it and had to use a lever to remove it. I would consider this the best magnet at this price point you can get, I am now looking at getting a larger one for lifting applications in my workshop.

Super strong but there is no north and south countersunk face. It is for this reason I have deducted 2 stars. If the maker would like to contact me so that I may buy the north/south face to those I have already bought, then I would be willing to upgrade the star rating to 5. Update. Having compared these to a set of magnets that are advertised to be weaker than these, I have found the power of these magnets to be massively overstated! I do not believe they have the pull power as advertised.

Wasn't expecting anything exceptional and the kit certainly fits the description. And although I didn't need the gloves I am not sure why I need two lefts, especially as I am right handed and if that is on purpose, how could they know??

Read loads of reviews on these magnets with different results. Decided to take the plunge and get this one. I was a bit sceptical on the power of this product but after the first throw into my local canal I pulled out a 10kg piece of metal railing I thought I caught a whale . It pulled loads of big nuts and bolts etc etc. Be aware if this magnet gets flush contact it’s difficult to remove as I found when I pulled the 4th piece of railing out of the water. Cost is high but is sure does what it says on the tin. Will buy again.

These good value magnets are really strong, more so than I expected - but that's why I bought them, they certainly do the job! They require care in handling, and are supplied with plastic spacers between them to enable separation, without which they are quite difficult to separate. Like all similar magnets they are quite brittle and shatter easily with impact, as I have discovered.

Strong not enough

These are great magnets and very powerful. This is the second set I've purchased and they are very useful for mounting anything to steel. Just be careful as they are a little fragile, I have broken a couple when they have hit the floor, but used the bits to make magnetic pencils!

Ces aimants sont particulièrement adhérents mais il demeure possible (en les faisant glisser latéralement) de les retirer du support aimanté sans un effort excessif. Ils peuvent être utilisés aussi bien vissés que non vissés. Ces aimants sont livrés dans un boite protectrice. J'utilise ces aimants pour suspendre un support de boite de mouchoirs sans avoir besoin de fixer quoi que ce soit.

'Artikel wie vom Verkäufer beschrieben?' - ja - ABER Vorweg sei gesagt, dass ich die Magnete für die Befestigung eines Fliegenschutzvorhangs verwende. Über meiner Terassentür ist ein Stahlträger auf dem auch der Klinker der Fassade aufliegt. Bisher habe ich immer die Fliegenvorhänge entweder per Klebeband/Klettverschluss direkt am Rahmen befestigt - oder oberhalb in dem Klinker per Schraubenhaken. Beides hatte einige Nachteile und so suchte ich nach einer Lösung. Starker Magnet - direkt am Stahlträger - DAS ist es doch... und dann noch direkt passende Schrauben dazu - an denen kann man ja dann die Schlaufen festmachen... Fix geklickt und gekauft.... Leider sind die Schrauben aber für mein - spezielles - Vorhaben sinnlos. Diese Senkkopfschrauben sind dazu gedacht, die Magnete z.B. an einer Holzwand oder so zu befestigen. So kann man Dinge aus Metall einfach an die Wand hängen... SUPER. ICH habe gedacht, dass die Schraube in ein Gegengewinde IM Magneten paßt - und man so direkt am Magneten per Schlaufe oder Draht - Dinge befestigen kann, die dann per Magnetkraft an Metallflächen halten (mein Stahlträger). Ich habe nicht richtig geguckt - stimmt - trotzdem habe ich den Eindruck, dass die Beschreibung schon eben das suggeriert... Nun ja egal. Es ging auch so! Ist etwas unschön - aber es hat funktioniert. Die Magnetkraft ist TOP - auch wenn ich bezweifle, dass 10 kg daran hängen bleiben... Unter idealsten Bedingungen (Labor) vielleicht - im Alltag eher nicht. Letztlich fallen mir aber 1 Mio. Dinge ein, die sich damit aufhängen/anhängen lassen - und das sind mehr als genug Verwendungsmöglichkeiten für die Dinger. So geht auch Preis/Leistung völlig in Ordnung. Die Schreibenform mit dem Loch ist sehr vielseitig - und auch in Kombination mit den Schrauben - trotz meinem Missverständnis - entstehen weitere Nutzungsmöglichkeiten. Also - gelassen ausgesprochen - Kaufempfehlung :-)

Ich habe mir das gute Stück zum Magnetangeln gekauft und bin richtig zu frieden. Als ich ihn hatte, musste ich ihn natürlich auf der Stelle testen. Natürlich ist mir nichts Besseres eingefallen, wie der Kaminofen. 🤔 ...eine sau dumme Idee!!! Ich hab bestimmt eine viertel Stunde gebraucht um ihn wieder zu entfernen. 😅 Natürlich ist der Ofen dabei nicht an seiner Stelle stehengeblieben. Alles in allem geht der Magnet richtig gut. Und wenn ich ihn mal versenken sollte, werde ich mir auf jeden Fall wieder einen kaufen!
