Crayola Face & Body Paint Crayons for Kids and Costumes, Washable Body Paint Markers Pack of 8 Classic Colors

Purchased this for a weekend cabin trip with 6 kids and 4 adults. This worked great as a morning activity, before beach time. It was easy to wipe off prior to putting on their sunscreen. I don't feel like this would work well for getting the Halloween/costume look.

The colora looked great but when you try to do the body paint it's very light and doesn't pop out.

The tips of the crayons broke off with just one use.

While this product is ok, I was frustrated when the one color I needed arrived broken. Fortunately, though, the black color was repaired and functions ok. Just my kismet to get the one pack with the one color I needed arriving in a compromised state!

My daughter really likes these body paint crayons. Easy to use. Adds nice detail. No smudging will applying or wearing. Easy clean-up. ALWAYS in her back of trucks for school dress -up days, costumes, at home play. A winner!

So I read the other negative reviews before buying these, noting what people were saying about the colors being very light and hard to see. That’s true, the colors are super sheer and you shouldn’t use these if you’re hoping to use them as an alternative to an actual face paint kit - these will not do the job. But I knew that, ordering these, and didn’t care, because my 3 year old recently decided her favorite canvas is her body and I’m tired of scrubbing decidedly non-washable marker and paint off of her little limbs every day. I was hoping for something that would wipe off easily, and these do. Yay! Except… if you are the owner of a toddler, you should know that they WILL find a way to immediately destroy anything they come into contact with, swiftly. I excitedly gifted these to her like… 5 minutes ago, maybe? She was excited, I was excited, hooray. She made quick work of ripping the package open, then promptly pulled all the crayons out of their plastic holders, and ground them all into mush in her tiny fists in the time it took me to brew my morning coffee. There’s nothing left. So I guess if you’re cool with flushing $7 down the toilet to entertain your artistic tot for entire seconds, there you go. I’ll have to come up with some other genius body coloring replacement. After I finish my coffee.

The colors were translucent on the skin, not the opaque look advertised on the packaging. The crayons inside the housing were thin and broke upon first use. I ended up not being able to use these at all.
