Quality product, super comfortable
Top notch laptop bag - great build quality, high quality zips, double stitching, protective padding for laptop and plenty of space for an overnight change if required. Bag is very comfortable, even when heavy, due to the design and 'suspension' in the shoulder straps. If you are slight in build, you may find the straps a bit broad to fit comfortably on the shoulders, but if you are 1.60m and above, it will be fine. Note that it is not the lightest on the market, but slight additional weight is in a lot of padding and protection. And you will struggle to fold it very flat in a suitcase, if you are like me and occasionally pack a day sack into a suitcase for travelling. But as a work laptop bag, it is excellent.

Walking, hiking, cycling, flying...
This is a great general purpose rucksack that I've had for over a year now, and is so far showing no signs of wear despite fairly frequent use and quite large loads. I bought it primarily for use on handbaggage only flights to carry my laptop, accessories, some books, and clothes - you can pack an impressive amount in to it so that for flying the concern is more likely to be weight than space. The three pockets on the front are fab for keeping stuff you need to access quickly in even when the main two sections are stuffed full. The carry handle at the top is strong, well-made and comfortable to hold, and doesn't have any trouble holding up a full, heavy bag. It's a comfortable bag to walk with as the straps and back padding are good and the weight is distributed well. It's not really waterproof but it takes a significant downpour for the water to get through. I always took the precaution of wrapping my laptop in a waterproof cover but my books never got wet when walking the mile or so to and from the local station. Even in torrential rain the lining and material have soaked up most of the water and nothing inside has gotten more than a bit cold and clammy.I've used it a few times as a day pack on short hikes where it's performed fine - back gets a bit sweaty but it's comfortable and there are ample doodads around the pack to insert or attach widgets such as water bottle, light/torch, GPS, etc.I've also used it while cycling a 7 mile commute, and this is where it's been least suitable - it's just a bit on the chunky and heavy side for cycling and the centre of gravity is a bit low on the back. Plus there's no external pocket to really place a reflector or light on at the back. But again it has done just fine and is a pretty safe way to carry your laptop on a bike. Despite getting a bit muddy on the outside from time to time it brushes off very easily and the contents have never been affected.Internal pockets are also worth a mention, it's got lots of little nooks that are easy to access, nicely secured and really convenient for carrying the various cables and accessories that often go with well-used laptops! All in all an excellent and versatile bag that looks like it's going to last me a long time yet. Recommended.

Good quality and a lot of storage
Good quality, i use it every day for works and it looks as new. It stands on its own which is handy. It has a lot of storage space so you can use various compartments for different purposes. The straps are comfortable even for a heavy laptop and papers.

A little pricey but worth the money!
I've been using this for a few days. The bag has a very premium feel and is comfortable to wear. I needed a new bag after my previous broke that can carry a laptop and can be used for overnight stays. The laptop pocket fits my 15.6 inch laptop nicely, and has space for paper documents as well. The main pocket is a good size. There is a divider inside of it which goes up about two thirds of the height of the pocket. This feels a little cheap, but is not essential. There is then a pocket for an tablet. My ipad air in a case fits nicely inside with plenty of space to spare. There is a small pocket between the handle and the laptop pocket, although once you put a laptop in this pocket is a little restricted. There is an organiser pocket on the front, which has lots of internal pockets and holders, and finally a small zipped pocket on the very front. There is also an elastic net bottle holder on each side, as well as a tall, think pocket (which fits a 600ml bottle well if you don't want them on the outside). The official dimensions show the depth as 25cm, which is above the hand baggage requirements for some airlines (Ryanair, Thomson, Emirates to name a few), but the bag compresses well if not full. It has a strap at the top of the shoulder straps that can go around the handle on a trolley suitcase, which is something I have missed on bags before. The bag will stand upright (although not if there is only an laptop in there) which is a nice feature.I was a little apprehensive of paying £45 for a backpack, but having bought cheap ones before that have only lasted a few months I decided to go for this one. I did look at it in TK Maxx beforehand, where it was £5 more expensive. I like bags that have plenty of pockets, and this has 8 in total.Overall, an excellent backpack!

Best Backpack Ever
I've had one of these backpacks for about 8 years and it's finally time for a replacement as one of the straps has given way, probably because it was a bit overloaded on return from holiday. My original backpack was branded Swissgear although the design is virtually identical to this Wenger backpack.I originally bought it for work as it has very good protection for laptops and large capacity for additional items. I quickly started also using it for holidays due to it's large capacity allowing additional items to be taken as cabin baggage. It's spent many weeks sitting poolside in the tropical sun!I'm retired now and don't need it for work but as it's so useful for holidays I bought an exact replacement. Hope it lasts as long as the original.
