Did the job intended
After several days using landscaping foam to build rockwork on my pond my foam gun was looking pretty sorry for itself and I was concerned it might not be recoverable but this cleaner was brilliant and it removed all the residue and returned the gun to good as new looking with a nice clean applicator nozzle. Would buy again.

Keep it clean
Does exactly what it says on the tin and it does it quickly and thoroughly. If you clean your gun by firing it into a largish glass jar you can soak dried foam on tools to soften in the liquid . Also squirt some in a clean sealable container to pour on a cloth to get your hands clean because it sticks to skin really well. I would think a single can of cleaner would be required for every 3/4 cans of foam. Do not buy the cans of foam without the gun cleaner otherwise you will be buying a new gun.

Leaking can after use
A bit fiddly to use, but cleaned my foam gun out quickly. It must be used immediately after using the foam gun, it will NOT shift cured foam. The problem I had was the can hissed for a good while after I had removed the gun, and you could smell the solvent leaking into the room. Not a very safe practice. It might have even emptied itself by now, but it appeared as if the nozzle did not spring fully back up. I haven't complained - it did the job I needed - and I may have got a bad can. I would leave it outside if possible after use - somewhere safe from kids and pets - and see if the nozzle does re-align properly.
