How long is the pen with and without the cap on?

Cap is off for however long it takes you to write what you're writing. Cap is on for however long you are not writing for.

Can you use Parker Quink

If you mean Quink in the cartridges yes, if you mean like a bottle of ink. You need to buy a ink cartridge converter. Which attaches to any fountain pen and allows you to pump it/fill it up with ink.

Can it be filled with ink from a bottle?

You will need a special cartridge that you have to buy separately but from memory it isn't that expensive. It's a little like a syringe but obviously more like an ink cartridge!!!

Can I use a different colour ink than the blue...I prefer purple or green.

This takes the long ink cartridges from parker which come in black and blue.
