100% Scottish Wool Tartan Rug - Royal Stewart Picnic Blanket

Warm rug with subdued colours rather than the usual brights which is a nice change. Didn't notice a smell but having read the reviews referring to a smell, I picked it up and buried my nose in it and noticed a slight smell then but no idea what it is. Probably disappear after a wash (I wash my wool rugs carefully with appropriate wool detergent and they are fine) as will the very slightly stiff feel. Bought as a birthday gift for 94 year old who loves it ;-)

Fantastic quality. A lot better than expected although the colours are a little bit dull. Previous reviews mentioned "a slight smell" after a gentle wool wash and an afternoon on the washing line I still can't bear to sit in the same room as this rug

Lovely soft travel rug. And not too expensive. And as for the smell some reviews mention, well we can't smell anything unpleasant. Good rug for the price. Quick delivery.

100%wool. Looks good and good size, A bit stiff and smells. Can't wash it as it has to be dry cleaned. I'm sure it will soften and smell pleasent after cleaning.
