I love these gloves. As a diy mechanic I have for years used the disposable latex for gloves when working on my cars.Well not any more, i discovered these by chance while searching for car parts on amazon and took a punt. I'm so glad I did.The gloves are made of a black fabric or very tight mesh and have a rubber coating on the palm and inside of the fingers.What this means is they are breathable, no more sweaty hands when working on the car for a few hours in the sun. The rubber has the added benefit of providing extra grip when required.I was expecting them to be a bit too thick but found they are thin enough to allow full dexterity so you can still feel what you are doing but have extra protection from sharp edges, etc.I've also found them suitable for working in the garden but really only for light work. I've washed a few pairs a couple of times and they stood up well. Of the 12 pairs I bought a while ago I still have 5/6 untouched as they have lasted so well.

You get a lot of strong gloves for the money. I would recommend to anyone.

Great value, used for both supermarket shopping given C-19 and tried with gardening but found the rubber provides little or no protection as was easily pierced when collecting leaves

I bought these to try to save my hands in the allotment. They work very well, thin enough for fine work like hand weeding but robust enough to protect my hands. They may not last for ever but at around 60p a pair, what can you expect. Excellent value!

To many left gloves .

I bought these gloves instead of the disposable latex ones I've used in the past, and they are excellent. Quite durable, reasonable protection for doing stuff in the workshop, comfortable and because they are breathable, my hands don't get sweaty. I've worn the same pair all day today and they are still in good condition.

At just over 60p a pair these light weight work gloves are fantastic value. The single size of large is probably fine for most adult males. Although not suitable for wet work or real heavy duty these are brilliant for outside work on a cold dry day. I used a pair when fixing a slate after my fingers became painfully numb; after putting the gloves on I felt no further cold and finished the job that otherwise would have had to wait. That one job more than paid for the full pack of ten pairs. I would probably prefer not to have the rubber coating on the inside palm/fingers ( l would happily swap the extra wear resistance for greater “feel”).All in all I can honestly say that I’m more than happy with these - even if I only get one use from each pair. Whether they are of significant benefit in the summer remains to be seen.
