Brought this one a float trip. Our canoe flipped. Everything got wet in the river, almost everything - except this little box. Retrieved this box floating down the river; and yes, the contents stayed dry. Completely dry. I highly recommend this.

It's a hard plastic case that is at the right price. I keep it in my car and throw my sunglasses in there when they are not being worn. It works to protect my shades. I pulled out the top foam layer in the case and I have six pairs of sunglasses in there right now and there still room to fit more if need be. It's great because I don't have to worry about anybody stepping on or sitting on my sunglasses.

I bought this to hold telescope lenses and find the case just an amazingly well built product. The outer shell is thick and gives the feel of being really heavy, but it's just moderately. The two closing clasps really do that; they clasp and you fell how strong they close and will hold the case. Inside, the foam provided is sectioned off into cubes, but gives the appearance of one continuous sheet, a few inches thick. That is the really impressive part of the case. I was able to design and pull out/separate the cubes I wanted to remove so easily, leaving perfect spaces to house five lenses and a small flashlight. When you close and clasp lock the case, you know it's closed. I am tickled with the quality and thoughtfulness of how this case is built and functions. For my needs, to hold lenses, altering what this "camera" case can be was so super easy. The case was quickly shipped to me. I was surprised to receive it many days sooner than expected. What a really great product. I can completely recommend this case. Buy it for the quality and especially for it's versatility. I just bought a second one today.

I use a program that notifies me by email when an item on my wish list goes on sale. On September, 17, I received an email stating that the price of the Nanuk 909 case fell to about $36.00 on Amazon. That is a good price - the price of the Nanuk 909 case is usually above $50.00.When I logged on-line to Amazon to purchase several Nanuk 909 cases, there was an advertisement for the Meijea case in the upper section of the web page. The Meijea case was looked similar to the Nanuk 909 but was only $30.99.I tried giving the Meijia case a try since it was described to be very similar to the Nanuk 909 case. Unfortunately, Amazon's description of the Meijea case is incorrect. The Meijia case is much smaller than the dimensions in the listing - about 2 inches shorter in length and width. Although the case appears to be well built (well built but still NOT as good as the Nanuk 909), that means nothing since my equipment will not fit inside.After receiving the Meijia cases, I went back on-line to Amazon to purchase Nanuk 909 cases. However, now the price was almost $20.00 more than the price on the day I purchased the Meijea cases. I understand that prices on Amazon change every day, but Amazon made the mistake, not me. Amazon should (but won't) respect the price of the Nanuk 909 case on the day I purchased the Meijea cases.When I contacted Amazon to return the Meijia cases, I was treated very disrespectfully by its customer service representatives (CSR). Amazon's CSRs incessantly interrupted me, a person with speech disabilities, arguing that prices change every day. I get that. However, the problem with the Meijea case was the result of Amazon's mistakes, not mine. Had Amazon provided correct information about the Meijea cases on the day of purchase, I would have purchased the Nanuk 909 cases. Amazon's incorrect information violates state consumer laws. Expecting Amazon to respect the price of the Nanuk cases on the day it convinced me to purchase the Meijea cases with incorrect information is certainly reasonable.I returned the Meijea cases to Amazon and purchased Nanuk 909 cases from one of its competitors, who respected the price of the Nanuk 909 cases on the day I purchased the Meijea cases.Go with Nanuk - you get what you pay for.For the record, the Meijea cases received were covered in dust and the finishes were marked with shelf wear. They were not in "new" condition. Another reason to buy Nanuk.

I love the fact that I am always able to customize the inside to accommodate any item.

It’s perfect for what I’m using it for, the storage of sensitive electronics.It’s well padded all round and can be made to fit almost anything by the removal of the foam cubes. I haven’t tested it’s resistance against water but it’s seal looks to be fit for purpose.

Whilst I haven't yet tried its ability to keep out the water, I can confirm that it is well built and at the time of purchasing good value for money.Would recommend.

This is a very good alternative to the much higher price Peli-Case.

Ich habe den Koffer für sensible Elektronik gekauft, bei der Größe sind gut 40€ schon ein stolzer Preis.Mein Koffer kam benutzt, verkratzt und absolut billig verarbeitet an. Wer einen vernünftigen Hartschalenkoffer sucht ist hier falsch beraten. Der Koffer ist nicht wasserdicht, die Dichtung verdient ihren Namen nicht und die Verschlüsse fühlen sich billig an und sind auch entsprechend verarbeitet.Den Kundenservice habe ich auf diesen Umstand aufmerksam gemacht, daraufhin wurde mir eine Rückerstattung angeboten - allerdings habe ich seitdem weder eine Antwort, noch eine Nachricht oder eine Rückerstattung erhalten.Fazit: Koffer billig verarbeitet, beschädigt und zu teuer - der Kundenservice antwortet nicht und lässt einen hängen.

ProsThe price is right when it goes on sale so I got two. Looks sturdy as advertised.The cut outs on the foam make this comparable to well known brands.The weatherproof gasket on the grove of the lid seems to be well formed to the inverse profile lip not to put needless ware and tare on it.Came in on time with no visable defects. There is a rubber washer on the underside of the knob.ConsThe model I received nolonger has the stainless steel reinforced padlock bindings for the openings.The steel pins are friction fit into plastic (vastly different expansion / contraction rates) so may come loose with heavy use over time.SuggestionsUpdate photos not to include the stainless reinforcement. I will test and update my post before taking it out on a real life with expensive gear in it.
