Great for ice and snow
I visited the North of Norway, and these little friends saved me more than once to fall on the ground. They are quite good for walking on the snow and icy floors, but break after some time of walking on a pavement. Easy to take with you in a small bag. It holds very well on ice. It fits well the rubber protector I had bought. It is important to have spare ones to substitute the broken ones.

Good as a backup
A bit tricky to install, but I guess that is better than having the studs fall off your shoes half way up a steep icy hill with no extras.
