Works Just Like You Think It Should
Easy installation. Instructions were clear. Very stable. I'm 240 lbs and this thing is solid. Grips don't spin on the metal. Seems like a great value for the price.

Rock solid, attached to my wooden beam.
In all fairness, I've had pull-up bars that did not need to be drilled in/bolted I, but I knew these would need to be bolted onto the wooden beam in my basement. But it wasn't easy-peasy. Not hard, but not easy-peasy. And though it wasn't hard to assemble, it wasn't easy-peasy enough to get 5 stars for ease of assembly. Anyway, once bolted onto the beam, this thing is ROCK SOLID in place. Very sturdy. I couldn't ask for a better pull-up bar for my basement. 5 stars for the end result. But probably took me 30 minutes to assemble, drill the holes in the beam and install it. But now that it's in, I am completely happy with it.

Two Right Arms: Updated
If you buy one of these pull up bars check and make sure you have the "right" parts. I received 2 right hand bars, rather than a left and right. Obviously, not Amazon's fault, but Fitarc's.Update: Amazon sent me another one, although Fitarc did offer a refund also. The bar is sturdy, but not solid. Assembly was straight forward, but you will want to use real tools versus the ones provided if you really want to tighten everything down, especially the bolts into the support board. I did remove the foam grips which are not glued and can be removed with slight twisting where loose, you may want to keep them? I have it bolted onto a 4x6 beam so not sure of any other option for sturdiness. Upgraded the rate to a 4 for the product, with the only caveat being, the quality control at Fitarc. It is sturdy and better than the between the door frame pull up bars, that have occasion to come loose or limit mobility.

Sturdy, At A Great Price
Admittedly I didn't hang mine from from an overhead beam, as I didn't want to drill holes in my chosen mounting spot. Instead I drilled new holes in the vertical bars to fit C-clamps, and hung it the whole thing (via hammock straps with carabiners) from a pergola. Works great! This item's hardware feels well built and sturdy, and while I'm sure the foam-rubber grips will eventually suffer mightily outdoors, still... I'm pleased.

Great option for the price
Solid bar. Tekes about 20 mins to assemble but solid once it’s put together. Foam handles don’t seem like they’ll last long but can’t hate for the price. I’m sure if I have problems duct tape will be a great addition. If you’re expecting longevity Consider something with rubber handles.

Terrible Instructions, Unsecure Fittings – Do Not Buy!
The media could not be loaded. This pull-up bar is a complete disaster. The so-called “installation instructions” are practically nonexistent—there’s barely any guidance on whether it needs to be drilled or how to secure it properly. Even the YouTube video they provide is useless; it skips crucial steps, leaving you guessing. To make matters worse, the screw-on fittings just keep revolving and never actually lock in place, making the entire setup unstable and unsafe. I’ve wasted way too much time trying to figure this out, and it still doesn’t feel secure enough to use. For a product that’s supposed to support body weight, this is a major flaw.Save yourself the frustration and money—look for a better-designed pull-up bar with proper instructions and sturdy construction. This one is a total fail!
