I decided to get this after seeing such good reviews. Not that I don't trust these now, but considering only 3 out of 400+ are verified I think I need to add to the reviews.Yes, it's a nice product! I got it on sale at a great price. If I had paid full price I wouldn't be as happy with it. Here are the pro's: the available light colors are great, ability to set alarm sound and brightness and timing is easy, and finally the sound selects are nice. I can say I believe having the sunset and sunrise feature works very well. I also like that I can use it as a bedside lamp.Now, the cons: instructions are awful, I'm tech savvy and it took me 20 minutes overall mostly because my clock setting button doesn't work well, when shutting off the alarm you need to touch the on-screen alarm icon which is harder to see/find when first waking up, the back-up battery was either dead already or the clock isn't working as stated when the power is disconnected, and finally the snooze time is not adjustable.Overall I'm satisfied but just think a few tweaks could make this an amazing alarm clock worthy of 5 stars.

This alarm clock does what is says. I have a really hard time waking up in the mornings when it is still dark outside. After shutting off my phone alarms daily I decided I needed an alarm clock that lights up the room. I set the sunrise setting to go off 30 mins before my alarm and so far so good. I like the waves sound for waking up because it's not obnoxious, but still wakes me up.

I ended up returning the clock because (I think) it was defective. Touch screen didn't work properly and it was hard to set the alarm. When I messaged the seller, I got no response, so I just returned it. No hassle from amazon.The colored lights were abrasive and awkward; I probs wouldn't use them except if I were throwing a rave in my bedroom.There were a number of prerecorded sounds (you cannot record your own) for the alarm. I could only stand waking up to one of them, which was classical type music. The water/ocean sound was super loud and crackly so, even though I bought the clock for that sound (and the sunrise light), I didn't use it.The sunrise light worked great, and was really awesome in the morning. That's why this product gets some stars. It was refreshing and calming to wake up to that light. But I think I'll try a different model, since this one had its drawbacks.

It's good for the price but it does have drawbacks. The light does not simulate sunlight but it does wake you up gently even before any alarm goes off. The alarm sounds are not the best but not the worst either. You can only set one alarm time. So if you wake up at different times during the week vs on the weekends that's not doable with this clock. It is unnecessarily awkward, at times confusing/counterintuitive and mostly frustrating to set it up or alter settings. You will want to set it once and leave it. There's only one length of snooze and no way to alter that. There doesn't appear to be anyway to shut off or snooze the 'sunlight' before the alarm sounds. It's probably not worth the lost money on return postage so I'll hold onto it and just shut the alarm off on the weekends or maybe move it to another room and use it as a regular clock. It's just OK.

This is great! a little bit of programming up front. but once it is set up, very reliable. I like the light for dawn.. it definitely helps me get to sleep. The wake up light is very bright. I seem to wake up way in advance of my needed time, so I have adjusted the light. The bird sounds are great! The sounds fad in over time which I like. can't tell if its from outside or the clock. All-n-all, I enjoy it. One thing to take note... do look up sleep cycle for when you want to get up vs when you should sleep, that makes a world of difference. The 90min sleep cycle was a game changer for me.

I liked the fact that it lit up, but that's about it... terrible instructions, and for my children, bc I bout two of them, said that they hit snooze and then the alarm didn't go off again. It was defective and the seller didn't want to authorize the return. Good thing for the A-Z guarantee Amazon gives....but now I don't know what to do with the clocks except to donate them or recycle them.

Returning; The "ocean" sound is so horrible it must be defective. Other issues I did not like - cannot fall asleep to nature sounds only use as an alarm. The sounds and alarm do not come on permanently but only for a few minutes before shutting off. The light did not help me wake up in the am but it did help when trying to hit the snooze/off. One plus from the horrible so called ocean sound it was so obnoxious I woke up right away. (Very very short loop that cuts off abruptly. Terrible) A few months ago rented a vacation rental that had a Homedics alarm with nature sounds Since I am newly retired, I loved waking up and falling asleep to Ocean sounds. Ordered this one as it also has the gradual am light feature. Returning and will order Homedics instead which I should have done in the first place.

The volume for the alarms is really loud. I wake really easily in the morning and do not like loud noises, music, etc. I was hoping for some soft sounds and gentle light with this alarm. Even when set on the lowest setting and placed across the room from the bed it is still really loud. I love the light alarm and just turn the volume off altogether. I like this alarm clock. The sunrise setting made it worth purchasing; I just wish there was quieter volume. Not everyone likes to wake up to a cacophony of sounds.
