Great for a beginner!
I'm brand new to the world of digital art and bought this so I could start learning. So far, I really love it!It has a very smooth surface, and the pen writes with little to no resistance. The pen itself is very comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver with a nice weight to it. The buttons are very easy to program, and I love that they're fully customizable so I could set them to what I needed! The small size is convenient and still has enough room to do what I need to.I have a tremor in my dominant hand from a TBI, and being able to hold/move a pen comfortably has been the hardest part of picking up art again. This has been much more accessible than traditional art! My lines are no longer shaky, my arm hurts less, and I feel much more confident in my movements because of how easy it is to erase/undo a mistake (literally just hitting a button on the side!) if my arm jerks halfway through.I think my only complaint is that I would love to have the option of a shorter cord. The one that comes with it is very long, which is fine for some people/circumstances, but difficult to manage when the tablet is sitting right in front of my PC and leaves a mess to the side that I constantly have to avoid. It's not a deal breaker, but would be good to have!

Worked perfectly for college graphic design classes
I got this for my son, who is taking Graphic Design in college. He needed one for his classes, and this one met all the equipment requirements, and had some of the best reviews, as well as being one of the more affordable options. The size has worked well for him, though someone with very large hands might need a larger size (he wears a men's medium work glove). He's said that the buttons were nicely responsive, that the sensitivity of the pad was excellent for his needs, and that there were no issues using it for writing or drawing. It's been a functional, easy to use part of his art supplies for the past school year. It was also very easy to setup following the provided instructions. Overall, we'd definitely recommend it, and my husband has considered getting one for himself in a larger size (husband wears a men's XL work glove and found the pad a bit too small to easuly navigate).

Excellent value for the money!
Any pen tablet takes some getting used to before writing on it is easy. Once you get the hang? It's great. The size: I have used Wacom tablets about the same size and loved them. However, I did not realize that with Huion it would be the whole screen. If you've used a Wacom tablet, you'll know what I mean- it's just a weird quirk. Because this tablet represents the entire screen, I wish I had gone with a larger one. Thaat takes some getting used to if you're coming from a Wacom. With my Wacom tablets, they were pretty much plug and play like a mouse or keyboard. With this tablet the Huion application has to be open to use it. Not ideal at all and the only reason I knocked off a star on my review. The buttons are easy to set and really nice to have! I've set mine to "undo," "redo," increase magnification, decrease magnification, increase brush size and decrease brush size. Works perfectly!I REALLY like being able to set the pressure sensitivity on this to work with my hand. I have a heavy hand when drawing and writing. It's perfect for me in that regard. It is a very smooth, polished writing surface. I have to place a piece of paper over it if I am writing something more detailed because I need the resistance-I'd probably have to do that with any tablet.All-in-all, it is a great value over the much more expensive wacom options!

Small size - plug/cord may require a bit of force to push in/pull out, but works good overall
Takes a bit getting use to and I may need to set up some buttons and their functions but I’m excited to try and make something!! Tracks well and I might try and use it to help me sculpt on blender. I was confused on whether the pen/stylus required batteries or not but learning how it works is really interesting and I’m excited I can keep using it!! It functions really well, I think I just need to get more familiar with it and again program the buttons on the tablet part, but yeah it arrived the same day I ordered it and it’s easy to put back into its package/box and small enough to carry around in my laptop bag if I really wanted to use it. Only complaint or concern would be the cord/plug part where you put it into the stylus, the “hooks” on the end that gets plugged in kind of requires a bit of force pushing in and pulling out and I’m worried about the possibility of it breaking sometime, which I might just have to keep it in there, but I’m really happy with it overall and excited to use it and get myself familiar to it

Great quality, amazing tablet
EDIT: Update after using for a week... the more I use this tablet, the more I prefer it over the Wacom.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Long time Wacom user here. And I mean LOOOOONG time! Like, I owned their very first tablet model and updated consistently through the years. Recently I decided to throw my Intuos Pro Small into the travel bag for working while on the road and not needing to pack anything up (other than grabbing the laptop). This Huion H950P was just a little bit bigger and I thought I'd give it a try as my daily driver on the desk with the widescreen monitor and secondary vertical monitor.I am absolutely thrilled! If you're on the fence just order the Huion.Build quality equals or exceeds Wacom. Driver for Mac was seamless and works great. I love it.ONE caveat... there is no "eraser" on the pen like Wacom has. I never once used that so no thing for me but if you need it go with the Wacom.Anyway, love it and really thrilled so far. I use Creative Suite for everything if you need to know that.

Well...
It'd good quality but it's a bit of a learning curve to use it I guess. It's a certain way it needs to be positioned for me to use it and even then it's doing functions other than what I'm trying to do. It's hard to describe it. I'll keep working with it to see if it improves or if it's something wrong with it. Will update soon.
