Great with non HDMI monitors
Bought this to connect a Samsung non HDMI monitor to a laptop with only a HDMI ouput, as the monitors only have DVI and VGA inputs. Had my fingers crossed it would work and it does perfectly. The cable is of a decent quality and the length matched what was stated. The connectors either end look solid enough to me and connected up as they should with no looseness or excessive stiffness.

Error
I currently own a Microsoft Surface laptop 2 and I have used the Lention device to connect one monitor through HDMI and the other monitor through VGA. When the VGA to VGA is plugged in it all works fine until I plug the HDMI into the Lention device the VGA turns off the monitor and the HDMI seems to work ONLY. So I have tried the alternative, I disconnected the VGA and I connect DVI to HDMI and connect the other monitor using HDMI to HDMI which works however, I am unable to extend onto 2 displays at the same time, it will only mirror the 2 screens as extended displays. Any suggestions here please?

Pretty much perfect!
A no brainer. This is a great price for an HDMI to DVI cable! The quality of the product is excellent. The cable is nice and chunky with cable strain relief at both ends. The plugs fit perfectly. I had the thumb screws with mine and it does look exactly as the picture of the product for sale. The quality of the picture looks perfect with no flickering, ghosting, colour issues etc so for me a perfect solution to connect my laptop to my monitor. No issues from my side so certainly a recommended product!

Good quality and for the job
I was trying to add a new monitor to a PC that wasn't old but didn't have any of the newer type of ports such as DP. To a non techy person it was quite complicated and 3 other solutions didn't work, some kind of backwards incompatibility but this product was recommended to me by a tech and it worked first time and it's of a good quality. Don't muddle with trial and error.....ask someone who knows their stuff !
