BTRHydroGo 2L Hydration Bladder Bag. 2l Water Bag

Nice alternative to the more expensive Camelback.However I have had 3 issues upon receiving the bladder.1) The mouthpiece was sealed. I could see the factory had tried to cut the clit for the silicone mouthpiece, but it had not cut all the way through, so I had to get a craft knife and cut the slit so that water could come through when bitten.2) the valve has a poor water flow. it's as if the diameter of the hole in the valve is small.3) When you unscrew the top to fill with water, it falls off. ...it is supposed to be held onto the opening by a flexible tether/ring, however the tolerances are so bad that the cap falls off when you turn it upside down to empty out/wash. I'll give it a few more tries and if necessary, might try to glue the tether to the bladder to prevent cap from repeatedly falling off.Apart from that there's little difference to a camelback. I like it but wish I'd paid more for the real thing (I've owned 2 other bladders including the camelback, but my wife lost both during a clearout).

I cleaned these out fully. Then filled them up with water. Took them out for a bike ride. Drank from it, very chemical plastic taste to the water. Got home had instant retching, and diarrhea. So not used again. This product offers a lot of extra bits to clean, however there is some chemical used in its manufacture that mitigates me using this wasted product.

I'm very pleased with this so far, I've only used it twice but it performed as expected.It seems to be made from a robust plastic, which will hopefully last well.The drinking tube is a push fit to the bladder. I wouldn't want to remove it for fear of leaks, but you shouldn't need to do this anyway.The shut off valve works well and prevents any leakage from the bite valve. I would probably consider the bite valve to be a consumable item as I'm not sure how long it will last.There is a nice wide filler neck which helps with cleaning and drying. The included cleaning kit is a nice addition which is a big help with maintenance.I was tempted with a 5 star review, but after only a few uses I felt it was too early to go that far.

The Negative:Yes there is a pretty strong taste given to the water the first couple of times this is used. I had filled it up a couple of times, and emptied it even before I used it. It's calming down now, but you do worry what chemicals may be leaching out of the plastics.The positive:The hose detaches and re-attaches at both ends pretty easily, but seems secure. This will help let the hose dry properly between uses.The lid is lightweight, but secures well. I have had no leaks.There is a tap near the mouth end of the line. These things don't always have one, and if you don't use the tap but somehow squeeze the end the pack invariably will empty itself.The drying/cleaning kit included works OKAll-in-all: good value for money.

My 15 year old son needed this for his back pack during Wing Ex. with his Air Cadet Squadron this last weekend - the hottest of the year so far.I was quietly confident that he would remain hydrated by having this conveniently to hand. How wrong I was!! On it's very first use it was punctured and rendered useless.Flimsy as...Don't waste your money :-(

Nice sturdy product, but not the easiest to actually drink water out of, you need to bite down and suck really hard for minimal water. I did notice after a few days of using that it started to become easier to get the water out, so maybe it just needed loostening.

Like: the price, nice to try out a different brandDislike: mine leaks, leaks from the main body valve and leaks from the mouthpiece. and the tube where you drink from comes out really easily so can loose it. Just poor design. I wish I just bought a Camelbank one.

Used a few times now in my rucksack, these bags are solid, no leaks, durable, seals up nice and tight as you would expect, hose is a decent length, and th3 tap, and suckling mouth piece is good, works really well, I have been very impressed by this piece of kit, only thing is, make sure you give it a really good wash and rinse before using, unless you Like your water tasting of rubber, seriously great buy !,
