Perfect for landscape photography.
BIG FAT YES! Good lens, Good value for money, Very nice quality pictures. Nothing to complain about. Who not happy just buy better, pay 700,1000,1500 pound and more for lenses. If money is a problem so just enjoy what you got. 100% RECOMEND this lens. One more thing, i know people who can afford camera and lenses that coast 4000-5000 pound, and dont know how to use it or use it just on auto mode,my pictures from my phone looks much better to compare with them😂 Doesnt matter how much your camera staff coast, matters what you can do with that. Thank you and enjoy your photo.

Soft Corners.
I have never bought a 'wide' lens of this level, with a minimum focal length of 10mm it is as near to 'fisheye' as you want to get if you want to correct distortion. I looked at all the reviews here before buying this lens and found them honest and accurate. There is indeed softness towards the corners of the images as another reviewer stated but it is not in my opinion objectionable. The general points for me are that it has excellent contrast, very good saturation and delivers a very sharp picture (apart from those corners). I have put three images on the item page here for you to see. I got the lens on 11/10 and took the photographs on the 12/10 they are unedited and quite poor compositions compared to the other excellent images in the line, but they show what you get just by going out and pressing the button. Well worth the money and a fine lens.

Good lens
Purchased this lens at the same time that I purchased a 70D. It fits the Canon 70D & 40D perfectly. Have tested the lens in low light with the images coming off a bit soft and also grainy (when upping the ISO). When used in daylight, the images produced are of good quality. There is the obvious distortion when not getting the angles right, but thats what you would expect from a wide angle.

Top wide angle lens
After much searching on the internet and reading reviews in magazines decided upon the Sigma 10 - 20mm f3.5 and after using it for some three weeks I am very pleased with the choice. I am using it with a Canon EOS 60D and it is slowly becoming my lens of choice, very rarely am I now using the Canon 17 - 85mm kit lens. The Sigma works well, obviously for landscapes but, I find superb for city work as well. The lens hood, a wide petal style, keeps stray reflected light at bay in the city and protects the lens well. Initially I used without a Polarising filter, but have now received my order and find that it really is an essential with this lens. Although the f3.5 setting gives acceptable results stopping down to f5 or f8 really makes this sing. Great lens and I will look to Sigma for further purchases.

Excellent quality throughout
I read a magazine article testing many lenses in this group and was surprised to find that this one produced significantly better results than it's rivals, including the Canon. I'd wanted a wide angle lens for a while thinking that I'd only use it for landscapes, which I don't do very often if I'm honest. When I received the lens I was more than happy with the results. The lens came with a case and a petal type hood, both good quality. The lens did take a bit of getting used to but now I find that if I'm not shooting wildlife I am usually using this lens. The zoom range is excellent, a wide f3.5 throughout the range gives great shallow depth of field possibilities and the guid quality is first class. There are a couple of minor niggles. Manual focussing is stiff and when used with video (the EOS650 has auto-focus when shooting video) the lens is jumpy and noisy, but like I say these are minor niggles. All in all a great value lens, it can well and truly hold it's own against all the competition.

A Decent Lens
The lens is of good build quality and it produces very good images. The extra-large 83mm opening seems superfluous because the actual lens glass is much smaller but I guess the extra circumference allows for a decent sized hood (included) without encroaching upon the 10mm wide angle shots and it channels as much light as possible into the lens. I've used the lens on a Canon EOS 7D and have produced some very pleasing Castle and Cathedral interior shots hand-held without flash (the constant 3.5mm a big enough aperture for most, but 2.8mm or bigger would be superb. I also took it to the lake district and from the 10mm wide angle perspective it crams a whole load of landscape into the vista. I also used my EFS 17-55mm and the difference within a landscape shot at wide end (10mm V 17mm) makes a huge difference and offers more creative options. It is also great for smaller spaces like car interiors and can make your living room appear cavernous! I would definitely use this if taking photos for selling property or vehicles. I give the 5 stars for value for money. The image quality is very good build quality feels great and good old Sigma include a quality padded case and lens-hood. Very much worth it at the price given the alternatives.

Very useful lens I use more than I expected.
This is a great a lens for crop censor camera. I use with Canon 70D. I hesitated buying this after buying Sigma 18-35, Sigma 105 Macro and Canon L 24-105. I thought I had a good range covered but this beauty is very useful and used a lot. The difference between 18 and 10mm may not sound much but is substancial. I think the constant f3.5 is worth the extra compared to its cheaper brother. Constant aperture better for video work too. No regrets.

Love it.
I take a lot of landscape photos and this has made a huge difference. Mega wide angle, even on a cropped sensor camera. Colour seems bright and really pleased with results. Lens distortion doesn't seem to be much of an issue apart from close foreground items. The outer ring is 82mm so had to invest in new filters for this lens, plus its a but bigger in my camera bag, had to readjust the layout of my bag after buying this.

I have Sony cameras because they take my Minolta lenses but I wanted a wide angle and these are hard to find where I live. So as usual I look on Amazon and there is what I want. I checked answers to questions and yes it was the right lens so I ordered it.

I've owned this lens since February and it is my favorite lens for hiking. Using an ultra wide angle lens is a unique experience that comes with a steeper learning curve then most other ranges. The biggest concept to grasp is scale, at 10mm an object 1 foot from your lens will look like its 5 feet away through the viewfinder, so composition and corner to corner attention to detail is crucial to getting a good image. Distortion at its widest is reasonable and expected. It is incredibly sharp in center to mid frame wide open, but it can get a little soft on the edges. I own the Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS USM II , so I know what sharp looks like and I have no gripes with this sigma. Focus is quick and the rings have just the right amount of tension allowing for precise setting. Try laying on the ground and have a friend jump over you, ultra wide angle lens have incredibly large depths of field and it's hard for this lens to miss focus. Also the minimum focusing distance is inches from the front element, so watch those cactus needle in the desert. The color reproduction is wonderful, and flare is controlled very well by design. The hood is ample, although when shooting wide the sun always seems to find its way into frame. Chromatic Aberration can occur towards the sides of the frames, but due to the previously mentioned scaling effect, you would have to crop into the image to notice it. The case is great, although I never knew how awkward working a cube into my camera bag would be. I eventually started leaving the case at home as it just took up to much room in my bag. Ultimately I do not regret this purchase one bit. Compared to other ultra wides, I couldn't tell you, all I can tell you as this is my go to lens when I'm feeling creative and it hasn't let me down yet. I'll post sample pics to illustrate my points.

I have used this lens for a couple of years and have never had a problem. It adds a great dynamic to shooting. There is no image stabilizer but the lens is so wide that it does not matter. This lens takes great pictures and is a necessity for shooting in a tiny office or trying to squeeze giant landmarks into a frame from across the street. I would highly recommend. The product arrived quickly. I received what I was promised. Thanks.
