Why haven't I bought this before?
I bought this on the recommendation of a friend as I have been bothered with an itchy, flaky scalp for years which no amount of anti-dandruff, sensitive scalp, medicated, prescription or baby shampoos have helped! I did worry about spending so much on a shampoo but in comparison with some more well-known brands, for the amount you use (a little really does go a long, long way), it would be comparable or cheaper in price. On the first use I thought that the shampoo felt very different from any other shampoo I've ever used, in that it made my hair feel odd when I was lathering it, but after rinsing it off and drying my hair...WOW!.. what a difference! My hair was shiny and soft and my scalp wasn't anywhere near as itchy as it had been. After a week of use I have hardly any dandruff and my hair looks fantastic, even to the extent that people have been commenting on how healthy and shiny my hair looks! Being nasty-chemical-free and 92% organic makes it even more attractive to me. I absolutely love this product and use it with the conditioner and shower gel every day! My only regret is that I didn't know about it years ago!

Not bad going
Great as an all rounder standalone in summer. I feel it provides enough moisture to almost nullify the conditioner.

Possibly the best shampoo there is.
I will be honest i was a use any old shower gel on my hair type of guy. Then after a bad case of dandruff and having to use a medicated shampoo to get things in order i started looking for something more natural on the scalp. I found this after a google search and have used it for past 3 years with great results.I love that its has none of the weird unpronoinceable ingredients that most products. I did think that would be a inferior product but its far from the truth a little goes a long way it has a nice smell thats almost relaxing when applied. And best of all it does a great job and leave the hair feel soft and clean better than other shampoos i have used previously. The cost is a factor but for the risk of irritating my scalp again and going back to sqaure one i would happily pay the extra cost to avoid prescriptions which cost more than this alone.

Sodium Benzoate free!!
So probably not the most exciting title for a review but if you are, like me, sensitive to this chemical which appears in just about EVERYTHING, then the title will make you happy. It's getting harder and harder to find hair stuff that doesn't contain 'benz' in any of the ingredients & I found this after more than an hour of getting steadily more and more hysterical; there are only so many ingredients lists you can read without feeling slightly psychotic. Unlike a lot of natural shampoos, this one does actually foam, so that was a nice surprise. It also doesn't smell like your nans toilet freshener, which is also nice. Nicest is that it works and my hair feels great. I bought the intensive conditioner to go with it as my hair is bleached & that too is quite lovely. My only advice is not to tip the bottle too much as it's quite runny & you'll end up with much more than you need. So please please please Green People, don't do what so many others have & reformulate this to contain any benzoate related ingredients. I'm quite enjoying not be covered in itchy lumps.

Can't Make My Mind Up
Can't decide whether I like this product or not, despite having used it for a few weeks now. It doesn't feel like it cleans my hair properly and I used to wash it every other day. With this shampoo I have to wash it every day. It's supposed to be for dry hair but it seems to make my hair even dryer than normal, so much so that I'm afraid to use straighteners after washing with this. I like that it has no sulfates or other nasties and that's why I will continue to use it until the bottle runs out. Also, I used to use Herbal Essences Hello Hydration which actually made my hair fall out at a rather rapid rate. This shampoo, on the other hand, seems to slow down my hair loss and I'm now losing around 10-15 each wash, which is more reasonable than the 150+ I lost with Herbal Essences. It's clearly good for my scalp but it needs a really intense conditioner to be used along with it. My main issue is that it doesn't make my head feel clean. I am used to using shampoos that don't lather as I have done in the past but a shampoo, if nothing else, should definitely make you feel clean. I know it says it's highly concentrated and you don't have to use a lot, but even my usual 5p sized blob doesn't feel like enough.

Clean but not drying
- This shampoo leaves my scalp clean but not dry. You may still want to use a conditioner but think it's a really balanced shampoo. It cleans, but doesn't 'strip' the hair clean. It's moisturising but doesn't leave product on the hair like I found with Dr Organics Aloe Vera shampoo. - It has a neutral smell. - Before buying I thought it fairly expensive for my budget, but the quality is worth it and it is concentrated so should last longer. I've found to make the most of it I dilute/mix some with water in a separate bottle first before applying. Adding more if needed. I tend to use more product purely in an attempt to get more foam! If you dilute it first more bubbles come with less product = you use less product for the same result and last longer. - I've found it perfect for normal hair and dreadlocks.

Good, but would be better if conditioner were more nourishing.
I use this shampoo alongside other normal shampoos. I find it really cleans my scalp and helps to keep my hair from becoming greasy. I have slightly mad curly, very fine hair and have really struggled to find shampoo that doesn't leave the ends of my hair parched and the roots greasy. The only issue is for me is that the conditioners aren't very good so it dimishes the shampoo slightly because without conditioner this shampoo does leave my hair VERY tangled. I use this shampoo and alternate it with normal cheaper shampoos and conditioners and that seems to work.

Be aware of ingredients, especially for sensitive skin!
I have a very sensitive scalp (I think I possibly have contact dermatitis) and so have to be careful when buying shampoos. I cannot use any kind of sulphates or parabens, and some other ingredients too. So I always have to double and sometimes triple check ingredients just to be sure. I usually buy a different Green People Shampoo, which I have used before and know is safe. I checked the ingredients on this item several times before buying to be sure it wouldn't irriate my scalp when using and was sure there was nothing there that would cause a reaction. However, upon receiving the item and only after using 2 or 3 times, did I notice my scalp starting to get irritated. Upon checking the bottle, this item contains Sodium Coco Sulphate. So while this product claims to be sls free in the item description, it does contain Sodium Coco Sulphate, which is still a synthetic detergent and is still very bad for your skin. In addition to this, I feel that Sodium Coco Sulphate not being on the ingredients list in the item description is highly irresponsible. I purchased this shampoo under the impression that it would be safe for me to use due to checking the ingredients and not seeing anything I normally would watch out for. I take responsibility for my skin, in that I check the ingredients repeatedly. I don't expect other people to cater for my condition. I do however expect companies to be responsible for listing every ingredient an item contains so that I know what I am buying and whether or not it will cause irritation. And just to be clear, my issue here is not with the Green People, who make this shampoo, as they clearly list this ingredient on the bottle (although is do think saying it's SLS free is contradictory when it contains something which is basically the same). My issue here is with Amazon, who failed to list this in their item description.
