Q: There are negative comments about the weight. I need 18ft for one window only. Can i take a section out and use a shorter length for the rest? Thanks

This is telescopic. So you can extend it from 9ft. To 18ft. & still clean your Windows. I am 76 yrs old & can manage 18 ft. Extended pole. My advice is to buy the aluminium pole as the plastic pole soil bend at full length. I also bought the soap dispenser which screws on the end . This is from the same supplier.I hope this helps you.

Q: Can I use this to clean out gutters with an attachment

If you've got a ladder that reaches the gutter, you can use the pole with an attachment to clean out the gutters. Saves you having to move ladder more often.

They work off a water mains (tap)

Q: can you buy a spare brush for the pole and do i need to buy that conector ?soap thing??
