ICE Medical Purple Stethoscope - Dual Head in Purple Bag

Great product

OK so it's obviously not the best stethoscope in the world at the price. I previously had a litmanns that cost me 9 times as much. It is quite hard to hear hearts (I'm an animal nurse) but it does work. It's a bit flimsy and the parts tend to pull out and stuff. On the plus side easily storable as you can detach everything and it's quite lightweight and flexible. If you're just looking for something cheap and temporary like I was, it's not bad at all. The zip case is nice that it comes in as well.

Pleasantly surprised by this stethoscope. It has a very comfortable and snug fit which helps with sound conduction. Bought to replace one that I returned that was twice the price and was pleased to find this was half the price and twice the value of that one.The bag to keep it in is also a quality product.

Probably better for fancy dress than using on the ward but it was a lovely funky purple colour. Cheap n very cheerful!

I bought this for a bit of fun really and so it has proved to be, listening to my own heart and the strange sounds of the workings of my dodgy digestive system.It is well made and looks like it will be very durable. It comes in 3 parts ... the purple connecting tube, the ear piece assembly, and the double sided head which has a flat diaphragm one side and a bowl shaped receptor on the other. It is a simple and quick matter to attach the head and earpiece assmbly to the tube ends.The small instruction leaflet is very much 'English as she is spoked' and I had to read it a few times to get the full meaning. The most important thing to appreciate is that only one side of the head can be active at a time. The metal tube that enters the head assembly is rotatable through 180 degrees with a click stop at each limit of travel. This positions the small hole in the tube in line with one head or the other. Unless you observe this simple action, you may wonder why you are not hearing anything.A simple but effective product that I can recommend.Dave.

Basic and simple, does what it needs to for home use, both as a first aid tool and health option for both human and dogs. Handy to have a small bag to keep it clean

I bought this for my son to replace a broken toy as it was only a tiny bit more expensive for a real one. At first I couldn't hear anything at all through it, but thanks to David Chambers' review (and no thanks at all to the instruction leaflet!), I twisted the bowl bit around until it clicked into place and it now works very well.

I got this as a gift for my niece - she loves it.
