The drawings of the hand signals are for the most part (95%) very clear as to what signal applies to what situation.There are, I have learnt hundreds of signals. This book only provides a small sample, many of which are covered in the most basic of beginning to dive sessions.Some are a little ambiguous but can be thought out.OVERALL, it will add to a novices knowledge base and as a newly qualified open water diver I am a novice and will have gained from the book once committed to memory.I hope that this review has been of assistance to you the potential buyer. I am fairly new to diving and I was looking to improve my underwater communications. This has been a handy reference book. It is well illustrated and easy to understand. Great book to have to help you communicate with your dive buddies.I tried to post a picture of a page from the book to show how well it was illustrated, but Amazon wouldn't allow it. 日本でここまでハンドシグナルを使うガイドと理解できるゲストは少ないと思いますが、知っていると一気に仲間との距離が縮まります。それだけで無く感動の共有、素早い意思の疎通、安全なダイビングへの寄与など、、、、海外のダイビングでも役立つ内容だと思います。本の内容は全て英語ですが、簡単な単語ばかりなのでCカードを持っている方は復習も兼ねてぜひ１度読んでいただきたいです。
