Buy this book!!
Honestly can’t say enough good things about this book, it is the cutest thing ever! Such a sweet story about a baby lion who is kicked out of his herd (brutal) to help other animals and eventually gets accepted back into his pride at the end. Read it to my mates before I gave it to my nephew as a present and one of them teared up from it haha it’s honestly so cute it will warm your heart.Great book to help teach your children about empathy and caring about and helping others, especially great subtlety for parents who want to teach their kids about non violence toward others and animals ❤️

Be age aware
We have ‘giraffes can’t dance’ which my 2 year old grandson loves, this says it is suitable from baby to 5 years but I would totally disagree, the text is far too complicated for the average or even above average 2 year old, he may like the illustrations but that is it! I do not recommend this for under at least 3 or 4 year olds for the verse, illustrations are lovely though.

Heart-warming and charming tale..
This originally started out as a poem by the author who re-worked it and produced this lovely colourful picture book. It's a lovely tale of kindness, caring and love conquering all. Told in a rhyming format it showcases the tale of a little Lion who was different and who went on to make a difference.

Lovely book
I bought this for my 7 year old son as I am sick of taking it out of the library! He loves lions and this book is a lovely tale of a lion who didn't want to be like the others. The narrative is a easy poem and as he struggles with his reading he finds it easy to read as it flows so well.It is a really lovely book to snuggle at bedtime with, even my 9 year old likes it although I doubt he would admit it to his friends!
