The sticks came with instructions saying they wstarted khaki and changed colour, mine came mustard and stayed mustard. no knowing whether they worked or not. Sent back and refunded with no hassle.

It works and you can keep an eye on your PH balance. It assists you with bacterial vaginosis and other issues that may bring the PH balance down, you can always as check with the test stick.. The most natural way to get rid of bacterial vaginosis or fungal infection or PH imbalance is Kefir and using virgin coconut oil..

I'm not sure about this product as I have only used one test strip so far. It said I didn't have an issue but I proceeded to use a pessary as I felt I did. The pessary took away my discomfort so I will let you make up your own mind about whether these test sticks work or not. Personally I would not bother again.

I looked at reviews on this products which are mixed depending on vendors. I purchased mine from this particular vendor. I am a scientist so I sacrificed 3 of my purchased strips to test this product, used a known alkaline agent, a know neutral agent and a known acid agent. YES it works, and the colour varies accordingly, and Yes it is only a piece of litmus paper attached to a stick , however, it is a clever idea for women with ongoing thrush/BV outbreaks who are not sure what treatment to go for. The vaginal pH does not tend to change with thrush but it does increases with BV, so there will be a change of colour if it is BV, in this sense this simple test enable a fast 'diagnosis' before deciding to consult a doctor, or not.

This like other colour indicator tests only tell you whether there "might" be an infection. The test doesn't not confirm whether an infection is present regardless of you ph level. For example, i naturally have a ph level of 5.0 - even in pregnancy. Any result over 4.5 is considered abnormal. However, after having regular clinical swabs at my GP surgery, no infections have ever been detected. So my advice, if you're worried you may have an infection, or especially if you are pregnant, is to see your GP asap and have a proper analysis done.

Ph of healthy vagina is 3,5 and those sticks starts from 4.that's why whenever I use it, just shows me same color even that I know I have got an infection.I think ill just buy normal litmus paper

I got this product as I prefer to try to find natural remedies rather than consult the doctor unless absolutely necessary. The supplier sent the item within the stated period of time but buyers should be aware that although you can test the ph level of the vagina with this easy to use product,it will not tell you whether or not you have thrush or bv. The swab apparently would need to be sent to a laboratory. For this reason I am only giving 3 stars as I had thought I would be able to test for everything at home.
