Bought as a gift so can’t give 5 stars
Had a look through the book before giving to my great grandson. Did read a couple of the stories myself and enjoyed them. As my great grandson has become sensitive to scary stories this book seems to be ok.

Bought 4 a 5yr old son of a dear friend .. she told me he has really enjoyed having the stories read 2 him .. so can recommend 😊👍🏻

Stories for 5 year olds
Nice short stories which my grandson loves at bedtime. There's a mixture of page lengths which means you can choose a very short story for a very tired child! I hope the '6 year old' book is as good.

Not for 5 year olds to read by themselves
Its a good book but not something a five year old can read just yet. More like 6/7 year olds so my Daughter will have to wait a bit to read it.

Age appropriate and great for story time
Lovely stories perfect for a 5 year old-just what it says on the tin! My daughter still needs a little bit of help reading, but for story time these are age appropriate and short enough to keep her attention or for bed time- no more massive books when they should be sleeping. Plus she loved getting a book with her age on for her birthday!
