Very sharp and makes opening letters easy. Wish they were a little larger to make grasping easier.

The plastic tips are "dull" and the razor dulls in a just a few cuts.Trust me on this, move on...away from this product, I went back to razor blades and I still have three of these left.

A little thin but they work

This is very simple but most effective way to open an envelope. Because the blade is mostly covered, it is also very safe. Although I've had this only a short time, the blade seems to have dulled more than I would have expected.

love these style of letter openers. they are quick and easy to use to open letters or larger manilla envelopes. heck i even used these to open boxes with that security tape. this is a very sturdy opener. hard plastic with a very sharp metal slicing knife encased into the plastic. so the real test for this opener. i use heavy drawing paper for woodworking plans. i used this to cut the straight lines out for my template. straight as a arrow. so i now keep a couple in my shop, very handy when i don't have my box knife with me.

A bit fiddly to get the seam of the letter inserted, but once done, it's excellent. I doesn't work on all types of paper though.

A waste of money. Not razor sharp. Rips paper. Clogs up.
