This toy is very well made- solid and built to last even with some boisterous play. It looks really "piratey" and has lots of bits that do interesting things like a working cannon and a retractable anchor. It's the perfect size for our 4 year old son and a friend to play with together and he has hardly played with anything else since he got it for his birthday a week ago! Compared to other toy pirate ships we looked at we thought it was great value. It wasn't the cheapest (though it wasn't the most expensive either), but it was by far the nicest design and most solid build. Overall, we are delighted with it.

I was looking for a good quality pirate ship for my nephews and this was perfect. Not exactly cheap but materials and attention to detail is spot on. Easy to put together and is a great size

My three year old son loves this toy and it clearly sparks his imagination. It's well made but the instructions aren't that clear so I followed the box image for flag placement etc. I'm giving it four stars as there are two small cannonballs that have both ended up in my son's mouth - and are perfect 'choking size'- and younger children will love removing the flags. I don't particularly enjoy the near constant putting them back on.. sigh. My son has a number of toys from this brand and they stand the test of time well.

This was brought for my four year old son as a Christmas Present and he loves it. He is fairly robust and I was very concerned when I saw it as to how long it would last but for some reason he plays with it really gently, giving it the respect it deserves. It would of been nice that the ship came with its own pirates but I was aware that it didn't so had brought some as an extra present from Santa. Overall this is a truly gorgeous toy which hopefully will last a long time and can be passed down to other children.

I made this purchase for Christmas 2010 and it has gone down a storm. My three year old son is rather heavy handed and has gone through numerous plastic toys just through 'normal play'. However, this is very solid and durable and well worth the money. It wasn't much more expensive than a similar plastic product,has already had lots of rough handling and has stood the test well. I bought some plastic pirates seperately and so, if you have researched the product properly, their absence needn't be a problem. If all Le Toy Vans toys are this quality I will be buying more. Out with the plastic I say!

It's a beautiful toy but unfortunately it did arrive slightly broken and needed parts glued back together

Bought this for my grandson on his 4th birthday. He absolutely loves it. So many moving parts,, a child’s imagination has no limits with this beautifully constructed wooden toy. He loves the firing cannon! Hours of fun, highly recommend.

we got this for my sons 3rd birthday. Its a shame it doesn't come with any figures but we got the pack of 6 suggested to go with the boat and they are fab and look the part. its a lovely toy and my son likes it and so do his friends. My 8 month old has also taken a fancy to it and so far it is withstanding her attacks. One of the wooden flags has broken out of its masts and which has surprised me but we've managed to glue it back in. overall really good value

Beautiful, easy to assemble, amazing peace of art/toy, it’s been a year since purchase and my son who is 4yo now still play with it!

Ein tolles Spielzeug!!! Wird immer noch gern bespielt, sehr robust ( wichtig!) und regt die kindliche Fantasie zu immer neuen Abenteuern an. Sehr zu empfehlen!!

Los he comprado para regalárselos a mi hijo de 5 años, que es un fanático de los piratas y tiene un barco de madera. Son una pasada, con todos los detalles, de buen tamaño (unos 10 cm) y vienen empaquetados los 3 en una cajita. Seguro que le van a encantar!!!

Bonne qualité de produit. Belle finition. Mais on ne m'enlèvera pas à l'esprit que les personnages sont un peu cher. Ils tiennent difficilement debout donc on hésite à en acheter d'autres pour faire des batailles navales... c'est un peu dommage.

Ya al montarlo se nota que es un producto de calidad. Es de madera y además de ser un juguete duradero, queda muy bien como adorno en la habitación del niño. Es de los pocos juguetes que no guardamos en cajones ya que queda genial.
