Antenna Signal from Monitor to Camera
Although this is a digital wireless device, there are wires that must be connected to a power source in order to give either the monitor or the camera power. No issue as I expected to mount both items with power. I am using this system on my Enclosed Trailer in order to see what goes on behind me as I pull the trailer. When driving, having the ability to be 360 visual is a smart thing to do. I am giving this device a three for two reasons. My trailer with the length of the F350 is well under the 100' as identified in the products description. From antenna to antenna it's 36'6". This one camera setup boasts a 100' digital wireless range which is guaranteed to work even at highway speeds. Sadly to say, the connection does not boasts a 100' range as my monitor constantly loses the signal at 36'6". The other reason for decreasing a second star is that there are no options that come with this product in purchasing a booster antenna. If the item worked as specified in the products description, I would have no issue with assigning a five-star rating. If I can find a way to have a clear signal, I will keep this product, else, it must be sent back. I will continue my research as the item does have great potential. Any help amazon or the products manufacturer can provide would be of great help.

Great product, great service, bad instructions.
This is the second RVS system I’ve installed. The firsts one was a wired system on a 32 foot motorhome. It worked flawlessly. The one i just installed was a wireless system that replaced a “prewired” Furrion system on our Palomini travel trailer. The first problem was that the RBS system plug did not fit the Furrion system plug. So i had to hardwire the camera to the trailer wire. That involved cutting off the trailer pre-wire plug. Also had to figure out that the camera didn’t work unless the tow vehicle lights were on. And the trailer had to be connected to the tow vehicle via the seven-way plug. The RVS instructions are not helpful at all. I e-mailed them with all of these comments, so I’m not blindsiding them. The RVS system, once installed, is far superior to the Furrion system, but the installation and instructions suck. On the bright side, the RVS customer and technical service are superb. None better. Call them and they will knock thrmselves out to help you. In the end, go with RVS. The good stuff outweighs the bad stuff.

I'm dropping signal at 55' of range. Screen is way too bright for nighttime use. Mic is useless.
Update-8-2-19 I contacted Rear View Safety to ask if she could verify that I have an authentic unit. She confirmed that it is. I’m still not sure. I’ve been putting up with my annoyances listed below, but have some time to troubleshoot again. My range is horrible and continues to drop to ‘No Signal’ and I need to call them to discuss options. It states that the range is 100' in the description, but the packaging says only 70'. I 'm experiencing blackouts and signal drops regularly and I'm only about 55' away. Using this on a 43' Toyhauler and would love to have the manufacturer backup their 100' guarantee....The Screen is insanely bright for nighttime use. Brightness and contrast controls are worthless.Microphone is useless as well and cannot be heard in the cab with the windows up at all. Lots of static in Mic when turned all the way up.

Good system, but not all there for Furrion pre-install trailers
I bought this camera system because RVS claims that they have an adapter plate and wiring pigtail for pre-installed Furrion mounting kits. That's only partly accurate, in the case of my 2019 Keystone trailer.First, the good: the camera is very good for a CMOS unit, and the 5" monitor is large enough and bright enough to be easily viewed on sunny days without completely blocking the driver's view through the windshield when mounted low above the dash. Pairing was very quick once the camera powered up, even at full length of truck/trailer.Now, the bad: RVS' Furrion adapter plate works pretty well, but it doesn't allow the camera's antenna to be positioned vertically, which would be the ideal for a monopole antenna. RVS' included Furrion pigtail did not fit my Furrion pre-installation kit's plug, so I had to cut the Furrion plug off and splice in the wiring RVS included with the installation kit. Installation instructions are non-existent, so be prepared to pay for installation if you can't figure out how to do this stuff yourself without instructions. Also, the camera's wiring tail is way too long to stuff the wiring into the hole in the trailer, especially with a wiring splice and the RVS wiring connector trying to fit in that small space. I ended up with a couple loops of wiring wrapped around the RVS mounting bracket.Had all the pieces worked the way they should have, and the connectors fit my trailer's pre-installation kit correctly, I would have given this kit five stars. When you don't include the right parts to make it work cleanly, and you don't have good installation instructions, and your wiring is too long to tuck out of the way, you lose a couple stars.

Outstanding product.
I finally have a camera that works. My third camera. I've been buying the cheap ones and they claim that their camera is great. As soon as I turn it on either loseing signal or no signal at all. My travel trailer is only 27 feet and then my ram 2500. But this camera oh boy im3telling you it works great! No signal lost and the monitor is very clear. I love this camera. Now I can see what's behind me and also I can see if my bikes are still there.

Works with 24' endlosed trailer
We have a 24' enclosed car trailer and a Dodge Ram 2500 truck we use to pull it with, so there's a lot of distance the camera has to transfer to the diesplay. This camera does work when it's mounted on the rear of the trailer. No interference at all.The one complaint I have is that the manual is next to useless. I watched a couple of videos about the product and there weren't any that showed really good set up instructions.
