Brilliant tool. I don't suffer with arthritic pain, or any loss of use in my hands, but was finding it increasingly difficult to open toilet cleaning bottles where you have to squeeze and twist...this tool works a treat. I'm sure I will find other things to open it with.

Most Jam jars do not have a single diameter the lid chamfered to some degree. The opener has a diameter profile that does not grip the lid entirely therefore tends to slide off. However this make comes with a non slip mat that helps to retain the jar base steady and helps to undo the lid, unlike many other brands that do not and therefore means the jar has to be held with the other hand and defeats the object of the device.

Ive been suffering with painful hand joints and struggling to open jars, bottles etc. I thought I'd take a chance on this. I wasn't expecting much if I'm honest. To say I am truly surprised is an understatement! The jar opener with the various sizes works on jars and bottles. The ring pull opening works a charm. To have one device make such a big difference is astounding. I can do things with no pain. Honestly this has to be one of the best purchases I've ever made l.
