You need to plan to have a long time to coat the wood in five coats each with three days between, but does work well

Bought this tin for a kitchen table and it has lasted years. Food proof and holds up against knocks and scratches pretty well. I just applied a few coats with a cloth letting it soak in.You’ll need to leave a few days for it to “go off” though and I found the nutty smell a bit unpleasant. However it’s worth it as it leaves a lovely finish which is strong and good safe.

the best quality oil I have ever used, it takes 2-3 days to dry, but the finished result is stunning.I recommend thinning it out for the first 2 coats with pure turps, then put at least another coat of the pure oil. It smells very pleasant as well, and has no toxic fumes, a joy to work with and it won't yellow or change over time like BLO. I prefer it over all linseed oils and think it is far superior.

This oil has helped us to achieve a good finish on a table we were restoring.

I have used this to protect my bee hives. It has enhanced the wood's natural colours and left a good protective finish to the wood.
