Hercules DS630BB Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand With Auto Grip System

This stand is sturdy and folds down really quite small. The bag is very useful for storing it in although the material it's made from seems a bit thin. The others in the band I play with all seem to use the guitar or keyboard versions of Hercules so it is obviously a good make.The auto grip seems to work OK but was not the main reason I wanted the stand which was the sturdy build and small footprint when folded up.For £21 you can't go wrong, especially when compared with the cheap £10 ones you can get that don't fold anywhere near as small.I will be getting another!

I already had a Hercules DS630BB Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand With Auto Grip System which I used for my alto. I also had a standard tenor sax stand (also by Hercules) which was actually badly marking the black laquer under the bell curve - particularly when gigging an going for a quick change-over.Using the new stand with the auto grip, this hazard is removed. I really recomend these stands.

Very well made and sturdy saxophone stand. I use this for a tenor saxophone and it works perfectly. The AGS (auto grip system) works well and helps give you a little more piece of mind, knowing that your sax wont slip off if it gets knocked. Very quick and easy to open/ fold down, folds pretty compact. A great priced and must have accessory for any alto/ tenor saxophone player

Well made & grip system is clever. However not as stable as my old stand. Compact and easy to transport when folded.

Very compact and sturdy. Best start to carry around. This is a very good stand. As mentioned before, if you use it with a tenor, the instrument will get very close to the ground, but I haven’t seen any problem with it so far.

Excellent stand even if someone knocks the sax .. the stand holds it in place. Wish I'd bought this in the first place instead of buying a cheap Stagg stand. Then my sax wouldn't have got damaged when hitting the floor. Recommended product. If you value your Alto / Tenor sax get this stand.

My secondhand sax fell off its basic stand before I'd even used it...so I've spent the past few months checking and rechecking my new sax was secure and definitely didn't leave it unattended. This Hercules stand completely removes that worry...it just grabs the bell as you rest it. Money well spent.

Excellent quality and very sturdy stand for my Saxophone, would highly recommend. Not sure about the yellow accent so I sprayed mine black. Looks really good.
