This floor mat for the salon is just wonderful. I have bought numerous ones over the 13 years and this I just got recently so we will see how it does long term, but I love how it is not slippery and the wheels of my stool or not getting stuck on it and it feels very comfortable to my feet and back. I am so glad I got this.!!!

Really like the nice cushion on this moderately thick mat. It is much better than standing directly on the floor helping foot and back comfort.I love the striping effect on this mat as it adds to minimal trash recognition. The fact that this mat sweep and cleans well is much desired attribute.Overall, this is a great buy and am enjoying it well.

I grew up learning to cut hair. When my mom & grandmother weren't cutting/styling, I was. From time to time, I cut my husband's & son's hair. Even my own. So, when my son & husband needed hair cuts during Covid, I stepped up. But, I learned why you want a barber mat. I have leukemia & had spinal fusions this past May. Standing can be exhausting in ways most people don't experience and having this mat to put the chairs on has been a god-send. Wonderful. My husband thought I was crazy to get the mat only for 'hair cuts' but after sweeping it off, I put it in front of my kitchen sink and have happily been doing chores that used to exhaust me. Repurposing? perhaps. But effective. The thickness, cushioning & 'durable' coating have been great in the high-traffic area. If I'm feeling festive, I can lay down a holiday rug on top of this and still have the cushion I've been wanting. I'm sure, there may be mats like this out there for kitchens, but I have yet to find something this thick and durable. And, when the boys need haircuts - I'm good. I've got the mat. Would definitely get this again.

This product is exactly as described on Amazon. This standard size semi-circular salon mat was a perfect switch out from my old mat. Though my chair base is square, this salon mat still works just fine. The cute black and white design adds a little character to my floor. It is thick enough, but not too too soft and bouncy. Perfect for me 5'1 130lbs so it feels great under my feet while working and I do stand a lot. The price is in the normal range for mats. Very easy to clean and wipe down oils and products. 5 stars.
