Shimano SM-SH11 SPD SL Cleats Schuhplatten Gelb

I'll be honest I've never used cleated shoes/pedals before I decided to buy these for my road bike, but I instantly got on with them- they're easy to fit, easy enough to clip-in (tho the pedal does need to be the right way up which seems to delay me slightly compared to other riders I go out with) and easy enough to quickly un-clip when you need to. I've basically had nothing but good experience with them thus far, and have been using them now for about 4 months. They also boast a big surface are compared to their types of cleat; this being a factor that persuaded me to purchase them in the first place. The other being their very competitive price- based on that alone- if your on the marker for a setup that's cheap, reliable, and easy to use and are not overly bothered about weight then these are top dollar!

Good yellow Shimano cleats with the max. level of float that one can get. Arrived in good time and installed without any issue. Product as described.

Perfect replacement for my old cleats on my Giro shoes

My son bought these and has notched up around 20 trips of 40 miles per trip, plus some sprint worked with the club he joined. The cleats are still working well, connecting and disconnecting as required. He finds the 6 deg float maybe a little too much for him, but that has nothing to do with the product. They appear to be good quality and good value for money.

As bike cleats these are top notch - work very well, easy to fit, easy to clip in and out etc..... BUT as much as I tried they just don't make you float! I couldn't float one degree never mind the 6 degrees advertised! I tried several approaches to aid floatation - 1. stand in the middle of a busy high street with arms outstretched ala David Blaine or Dynamo 2. On a bouncy castle - cleats burst castle - ruined my cousin Robert Bob Robertson's birthday party (I pointed out at 36 he is too old to have a bouncy castle but he just had a paddy and ran to his room) 3. Shouted 'wingardium leviosa' at the top of my lungs until a PCSO came to ask me to stop 4. Did a MASSIVE jump from the top of a child's climbing frame - resulted in severe 'barking' to my shin. All in all very disappointed by the lack of floatation....... I have contacted my MP but don't hold out much hope....

Don’t buy the cheap ones, these are worth the extra few pounds. I purchased the cheaper version and couldn’t get my foot out of the clip! So I ditched them and got these. I wish I had done that in the first place. Great replacement for what I had. Does the job well. Hopefully they will last a while.

Exactly as described. Worth noting that these are genuine Shimano cleats, they are not cheap aftermarket alternatives that are available elsewhere on Amazon.

They are good. They do the job but wear out much quicker than the originals
