Took bit of time to get use to using it but once sorted worked well

if you have ever tried lifting and carrying an 8 by 4 sheet of MDF or Plywood on your own you know what a nightmare it is......... this makes it a dream. worth every penny. I have only used it once to carry 6 sheets of 20mm MRMDF from outside on the drive and though 2 doors into the house. If i never use it again it was still worth it

This is a very useful piece of kit which I can highly recommend.

Worked well, makes moving MDF sheets much easier

This got reasonable reviews so perhaps I got a dud. No matter how much I tried it just wouldn't grip the material. I had a lot of 12mm material to move, may be it's too thin. I did look but couldn't find anything regarding minimum thickness. In the end I used the other type of panel carrier that holds the material from the bottom and that done the job.

I needed this for moving 19mm sheets of walnut veneered MDF around my workshop.As a gripper/lifter it does the trick, it clamps the boards and allows single handed lifting.BUT... the abrasive on the faces of the clamp plates is too aggressive and it leaves marring on the surface of the boards. In some cases, it left indents that could not be sanded out. Meaning that for any panels that I needed to use for visible stuff it was useless.If it's rough boards or construction panels then this will work, if you need blemish free panels, maybe best to avoid.

I'm a man who has many, many tools. I love decent quality tools and I love the opportunity to try out tools that I have not seen before. This 'Panel Carrier Gripper' feels very well made and the engineering on it is really very good.To use it you simply place the jaws over the wood you want to lift, raise the handle and then carry the wood. I found that placing the handle on the outside made carrying wood easier as it tilted away from you.If you have done this correctly then the grip strength of the gripper is exceptional and there was no way that I could get the board lose by pulling it of the gripper. To release the wood you simply lift the handle.When I tested this on 80mm ply I didn't see any damage being caused - I did not test this on MDF or plasterboard so can't comment on if damage would happen. I would have thought if used correctly this would be unlikely but probably not impossible as the potential grip strength is very high.There is a very hard limit on the maximum and minimum thickness that can be carried by the gripper. I would estimate that the maximum is 24mm and the minimum is around 5-6mm. Anything above or below will simply not be gripped due to the engineering constraints.This tool will be used very soon for lifting loft boards into the loft and I am extremely confident it will do this extremely well. I am also fairly confident I could attach it to a pulley and it would grip as well.At a price of £16.85 at the time of this review I think this is good value 'if' you use it wisely. Test it with high value materials first (to check for potential crush damage). For carrying ply or chipboards this thing will pay for itself very quickly.

In der Beurteilung bin ich vollkommen frei und weder der Anbieter noch Amazon nehmen darauf Einfluss.Der Platten-Trägergreifer hat meine Arbeit erheblich erleichtert. Die durchdachte Ergonomie ermöglicht ein komfortables und sicheres Greifen von Platten, was den Transport spürbar vereinfacht. Der gummierte Griff bietet einen rutschfesten Halt und reduziert die Belastung auf Hände und Handgelenke.Die robuste Konstruktion des Trägergreifers gewährleistet eine zuverlässige Leistung, selbst bei schweren Lasten. Eine Einstellung für verschiedene Plattenformate ist nicht nötig sondern der Plattengreifer stellt sich hier selbst auf die Dicke der Platten ein. Das Werkzeug ist einfach zu bedienen und spart Zeit und Energie.Er ist nicht nur ein Werkzeug, sondern eine reine Erleichterung, insgesamt ein unverzichtbares Hilfsmittel, das die Handhabung von Plattenmaterialien spürbar angenehmer macht.

Cette poignée de transport offre la possibilité de saisir des panneaux de 3 à 24 mm d'épaisseur.Une fois installée, ce qui demande à peine quelques secondes, le grip est bon, la poignée confortable et porter un panneau de plusieurs kg devient très confortable.En main, l'outillage inspire confiance avec l'utilisation de profilés en aluminium de 4 mm d'épaisseur et de tôles en acier de 2,5 mm. Il y a peu de doutes qu'il pourra servir pendant de très nombreuses années, même utilisé de façon intensive.Et à moins de 25 euros (24,85 euros en octobre 2023), c'est un investissement très raisonnable pour d'une part améliorer son confort et d'autre part préserver sa santé .

Bonjour à toutes et à tous,Si vous achetez ce produit, faites le en connaissance de cause !Si vous regardez bien la fiche produit : "La conception unique du support de panneaux permet à la pince de s'adapter automatiquement à différentes épaisseurs jusqu'à 1" d'épaisseur."A ma connaissance et sauf erreur, 1 inche est égal à 25,4 mm. IMPOSSIBLE !A partir de 23 mm, les plaques destinées à provoquer le "moment bloquant" attendu pour sécuriser le transport ne sont plus parallèles l'une et l'autre. En mettant les plaques comme il se doit bien parallèles au pied à coulisse je mesure 22.9 mmElles ne se plaquent donc plus intégralement sur la surface à transport = DANGER de chute de l'objet transporté.C'est très gênant quand le décrochage arrive, surtout dans un escalier avec une plaque OSB !En sécurité donc : inférieur à 23 mm ! Oubliez donc l'idée de transporter deux plaques de placo BA13 en même temps et encore plus de l'OSB de 25 mm même une seule plaque. C'EST DANGEREUXLe matériau qui appelle un commentaire est surtout le revêtement anti dérapant situé du coté intérieur des deux plaques de maintien. Ce n'est pas du caoutchouc mais un revêtement dur et rugueux, à voir dans le temps la longévité du principe d'auto-adhérence.Pas de doute, je regrette mon achat surtout pour la capacité ! J'ai acheté ceci en me basant sur la fiche de description pour transporter des plaques OSB de 25 mm (soit moins d'un inche). C'est faux !J'espère vous avoir été utile et ainsi vous avoir évité une erreur.
